Brook Michael Billings (born April 30, 1980 in Santa Barbara, California) is an American indoor volleyball player, who plays as an opposite-hitter for the U.S. National Team. He joined the team in May 2002. College highlights 2002 Earned All-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) honorable mention. Led the team in kills (386) and in kills per game (4,39). 2001 Earned Asics/Volleyball All-American and All-MPSF honorable mentions. Led USC in kills (390) and blocks (68) and was second in digs (118). Finished eighth nationally in kill average at 4,88 (fourth in the MPSF at 5,21). Posted double-figure kills in 20 of his 22 matches, with nine matches of 20-plus kills. 2000 Earned Asics/Volleyball All-America first team, AVCA All-America second team and All-MPSF first team honors. Clayton Iona "Clay" Stanley (born January 20, 1978) is an American volleyball player, a member of United States men's national volleyball team, a participant of the Olympic Games ( Athens 2004, Beijing 2008, London 2012), Olympic Champion 2008, NORCECA Champion 2005, multimedalist of the World League. 2006 FIVB Men's World Championship
The 2006 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship was held in Japan from 17 November to 3 December 2006. Like the previous edition, 24 teams participated in the tournament. Brazil won the Tournament (retaining their championship title), defeating Poland 3:0 in the final match. Bulgaria placed 3rd, defeating Serbia and Montenegro 3:1 in the 3rd place match. The Polish team dedicated this achievement to the deceased Polish volleyball player Arkadiusz Gołaś. FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship
The FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship is an international volleyball competition contested by the senior men's national teams of the members of ' (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The initial gap between championships was variable, but since 1962 they have been held every four years. The current champion is Italy, who won their fourth title at the 2022 tournament, defeating Poland in the final. The current format of the competition involves a qualification phase, which currently takes place over the preceding three years, to determine which teams qualify for the tournament phase, which is often called the ''World Championship Finals''. Argentina Men's National Volleyball Team
The Argentina national volleyball team represents Argentina in international men's volleyball and is controlled by the Argentine Volleyball Federation (''Federación del Voleibol Argentino'' in Spanish, and abbreviated "FeVA").
