Critical reception Awarding the album three and a half stars for About.com, Chad Bowar states, "The album is brutally heavy, but not monotonous." Dan Slessor, rating the album a nine out of ten at ''Outburn'', writes, the songs are "visceral in the extreme." Giving the album a 6.6 out of ten from Pure Grain Audio, Graham Finney says, "The saving grace for Broken Flesh is that, while they may be another generic brutal death metal act, their crushing heaviness is delivered with such pinpoint accuracy that long-standing fans of the genre will find plenty on this self-titled offering to keep them headbanging long into the night." Pagan Hel, indicating in a four star review by RAM Zine, describes, "Broken Flesh sure know how to engage with their skilled savagery, even if it does hold a (slight) Christian message." AllMusic
AllMusic (previously known as All Music Guide and AMG) is an American online music database. It catalogs more than three million album entries and 30 million tracks, as well as information on musicians and bands. Initiated in 1991, the database was first made available on the Internet in 1994. AllMusic is owned by RhythmOne. History AllMusic was launched as ''All Music Guide'' by Michael Erlewine, a "compulsive archivist, noted astrologer, Buddhist scholar and musician". He became interested in using computers for his astrological work in the mid-1970s and founded a software company, Matrix, in 1977. In the early 1990s, as CDs replaced LPs as the dominant format for recorded music, Erlewine purchased what he thought was a CD of early recordings by Little Richard. After buying it he discovered it was a "flaccid latter-day rehash". Frustrated with the labeling, he researched using metadata to create a music guide. In 1990, in Big Rapids, Michigan, he founded ''All Music Guide' ...

Warbound (album)
''Warbound'' is the second album by Christian death metal band Broken Flesh. Critical reception The Metal Resource writes, "As a band, the performances on this album are great. Many bands in this genre end up with all their songs sounding the same by the time everything is put together, but that is not the case here, which makes this a good listen. Guitar riffs are fast and show good variety; the drumming shows great speed as one would expect in the genre, but also some great variety fills, tempo changes, and double bass work; vocals are not simply all guttural death metal style and are delivered with a sense of strength; and even the bass guitar that is often largely absent from the mix in this genre contributes to the overall sound." Artwork and concept When asked in an interview with HM Magazine ''HM Magazine'' is a monthly, digital and print on demand publication focusing on hard music and alternative culture of interest to Christians.
