Sevendust is an American rock band from Atlanta, Georgia, formed in 1994 by bassist Vince Hornsby, drummer Morgan Rose and rhythm guitarist John Connolly. It would be the band's final album with TVT Records and was dedicated to the memory to both Dave Williams (Drowning Pool's original singer) who died of cardiomyopathy in August 2002, and Reginald Witherspoon (Lajon Witherspoon's younger brother) who was murdered in November 2002. ''Seasons'' was, for a time, the band's last album with Clint Lowery as he left in 2004. Lowery would return to Sevendust in March 2008. A limited edition of ''Seasons'' was released. This includes a DVD featuring "Black" (live and acoustic) and other special features. Recording and production In an unusual choice, Butch Walker was chosen to produce the band's fourth album. Although Walker had produced some demos for the band in their early years as Crawlspace, he had a largely pop-oriented résumé. TVT Records (Tee-Vee Tunes) was an American record label founded by Steve Gottlieb. Over the course of its 24-year history, the label released 25 Gold, Platinum and Multi-Platinum releases. Morgan Rose
Morgan Jay Rose (born December 13, 1968) is an American drummer and a founding member of Atlanta-based rock band Sevendust. He is also responsible for much of the background vocals. He has also played drums for Call Me No One and Methods of Mayhem. Rose is vice president of Imagen Records. Early life Rose lived in New Jersey until the age of seven, before he and his family moved back to Atlanta, Georgia. Rose's father was a guitarist and his mother, who followed the Raspberries in the 1970s, took her young son to see David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust tour, which he witnessed while sitting on the shoulders of a security guard. He credits his father with teaching him guitar and claimed that he was able to play Jimi Hendrix's "If 6 Was 9" when he was three years old. "Enemy" is a song by American rock band Sevendust and the lead single from their fourth album, ''Seasons''. It was released on August 26, 2003 with an accompanying music video. Background and meaning "Enemy" was written and largely sung by drummer Morgan Rose, who at the time was married to former Coal Chamber bassist Rayna Foss-Rose. The song was written about Coal Chamber frontman Dez Fafara. "That song is about the person in the world that I hate more than Saddam Hussein," Rose said. "It was good to be able to get that stuff off my chest because I was able to express myself without doing anything stupid that would get me in trouble."
