Mülheim, officially Mülheim an der Ruhr () and also described as ''"City on the River"'', is a city in North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany. Oberkassel, Bonn
Oberkassel is a suburb in the Bonn municipal district of Beuel and lies on the right bank of the Rhine on the edge of the Siebengebirge mountains. Oberkassel has about 7,200 inhabitants. History In 1914, workers in a quarry detected a grave with a 50-year-old man, a 20-25-year-old woman and a dog. Carbon-14 datings estimated an age between 13,300 and 14,000 years. A study of the mitochondrial genome sequences in 2013 showed that the animal is indeed ''Canis lupus familiaris'', not a wolf. Oberkassel was first mentioned as ''Cassele'' in 722/723 and as ''Cassela'' in 1144. Würselen (, Ripuarian language, Ripuarian: ) is a town in the borough of Aachen (district), Aachen, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Geography Würselen lies north of the city of Aachen in the immediate vicinity of the tripoint of Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands. Limburg-Broich
Broich was a Lordship of the Holy Roman Empire based around the castle of Broich in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The Counts of Limburg Hohenlimburg and Broich ruled the Lordship of Broich. As from 1479, they ruled the Lordship of Broich and half of the County of Limburg (in condominium with Neuenahr-Alpen). The Lordship of Broich was a strategic location of whose overlordship the powers of Westphalia and the Lower Rhine had fought over constantly, and the dispute continued after the creation of the line. In 1432 the Dukes of Cleves had succeeded in gaining overlordship from Berg, which led to the combined forces of Berg and the Archbishopric of Cologne capturing the territory in 1443, effectively destroying the castle of Broich. Thomas Broich (born 29 January 1981) is a German former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. A SpVgg Unterhaching youth product, Broich went on to play for Wacker Burghausen, Borussia Mönchengladbach, 1. FC Köln, and 1. FC Nürnberg in Germany. In 2010, he moved to Australia joining Brisbane Roar where he spent seven seasons before retiring. Friedrich Freiherr Von Broich
__NOTOC__ Friedrich Freiherr von Broich (1 January 1896 – 24 September 1974) was a German general during World War II. Shortly before the beginning of the Second World War, then-Major Broich was placed in command of the 34th Aufklärungsabteilung (Reconnaissance Battalion). In December 1939 Broich took over command of the 21st Cavalry Regiment, which he led during the 1940 campaign in France. After promotion to colonel on 1 September 1940, Broich became commander of the 22nd Cavalry Regiment. During the 1941 Russian campaign Broich commanded the 1st Ritter-Regiment and then on 1 December 1941 took over the 24th Rifle Brigade, which was later converted into a Panzer Grenadier brigade. In November 1942 Broich was appointed to lead the first "Broich" division in the North African theater.
