Broddi Kristjánsson
Broddi Kristjansson (born 8 December 1960) is a retired male badminton player from Iceland. After his retirement, he went onto win a gold medal at the BWF World Senior Championships in 2009. Career Kristjansson competed in badminton at the 1992 Summer Olympics Badminton had its debut as an official medal sport at the 1992 Summer Olympics. It was held from 28 July to 4 August 1992. Four events were held in the first competition of the sport: men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, and women's do ... in men's singles. He lost in the first round to Teeranun Chiangta, of Thailand, 15–2, 15–12. He won more than 40 titles at the Icelandic National Badminton Championships. David Wright (born 10 April 1965) is a former English badminton international player and two times English National doubles champion. Biography Wright who represented Yorkshire became an English National doubles champion after winning the English National Badminton Championships men's doubles title with Nick Ponting in 1991. Julian Robertson (badminton)
Julian Anthony Robertson (born 9 October 1969) is a former English badminton player. He competed for Great Britain at the 1996 and 2000 Summer Olympics. Robertson was a former British champion and bronze medallists at the 1998 Commonwealth Games in the men's doubles and team event. He also won the men's doubles bronze at the 1998 European Championships, and helped the team win the silver medal. He has also been involved in another 6 European championship medal winning teams. Russell Hogg (1 July 1968 – 17 September 2012) was a Scottish badminton player. He reached a career high as world number 8 and has a number of titles to his name. Hogg competed at the 1994, 1998 and 2002 Commonwealth Games, and won a mixed team bronze in 2002. About Dunfermline-born Hogg started playing badminton with the age 10. His father Harry Hogg was the Defence of Ministry worker. Hogg spent two years in Mauritius and after that he studied in St Leonard's Primary, Dunfermline, where his mother Moira was a teacher.
