Brochu Lake (Gouin Reservoir)
The Lake Brochu is a vast expanse of freshwater in the south-eastern part of the Gouin Reservoir, in the territory of the town of La Tuque, in the administrative region of Mauricie, in the province of Quebec, in Canada. This lake extends into the townships of Brochu, Déziel, Nevers, Aubin and Brochu. Following the erection completed in 1948 of the Gouin Dam, the current form of "Brochu Lake" was shaped by the raising of the Gouin Reservoir. McSweeney Lake
The Lake McSweeney is a freshwater body located in the Center-East part of Gouin Reservoir, in the territory of the town of La Tuque, in the administrative region of the Mauricie, in the province of Quebec, in Canada. This lake in the middle of the Center-East part of the Gouin reservoir straddles the townships of McSweeney, Magnan, Marmette and Brochu. Recreational tourism activities constitute the main economic activity of the sector because of its strategic position for navigation, being located between Marmette Lake, Magnan Lake and Nevers. Obedjiwan
Obedjiwan (officially designated as Obedjiwan 28) is a First Nations reserve and village on the north shore of Gouin Reservoir in the Mauricie region of Quebec, Canada. It belongs to the Atikamekw of Opitciwan band of the Atikamekw Nation. Geography Obedjiwan reserve is situated on the north shore of Gouin Reservoir, at (direct line) south of Chibougamau, north of Wemotaci and northwest of La Tuque. The reserve is located between Lake Kamitcikamac (west) and Wopisiw Bay (East). In front (south side), there is the tip Martel Kiwam jutting into the lake Mamette. The Jean-Pierre Bay is a freshwater body of the south-eastern part of the Gouin Reservoir, in the territory of the town of La Tuque, in Haute-Mauricie, in the administrative region of Mauricie, in the province of Quebec, in Canada.
