The Broadway Tower is a high-rise building in downtown Portland, Oregon, in the United States. The 19-story tower has offices for several companies, as well as a hotel on its lower nine floors. It began construction in 2016 and opened in 2018. History Excavation on the Broadway Tower site began in June 2016 and was completed in November. It was developed by BPM Real Estate Group as a mixed-use hotel and office building with of office space. The building was completed in November 2018. Tenants A 180-room hotel occupies the building's first nine floors. The Radisson RED Portland Downtown opened in November 2018. The hotel now operates as Hotel Vance, Portland, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel. Amazon signed a lease for approximately 85,000 square feet of the building in January 2018. Ladd Carriage House
The Ladd Carriage House is a building in downtown Portland, Oregon, at Broadway and Columbia. It is one of the few surviving buildings forming part of the former grand estates which once stood in the downtown core. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The building served as a coach house and stables for the William S. Ladd mansion, once located across Broadway on the block bounded by Broadway, Columbia, 6th Avenue and Jefferson. Broadway is a street in Portland, Oregon that runs from the Southwest Hills into the Rose City Park area of Portland. It is north-south in Downtown Portland, crosses the Willamette River over the Broadway Bridge, and is east-west on the east side of the river. The Memorial Coliseum and Lloyd Center are located on or near Broadway. Many old movie theaters are on Broadway in the Hollywood District. The street also runs through historic Irvington and Sullivan's Gulch. Portland State University is also located on Broadway.
