Miguel Ángel Britos Cabrera (; born 17 July 1985) is a Uruguayan former professional footballer who played as a centre back. Club career Fénix Britos began his professional career playing with Fénix in 2005. After playing the 2005–06 Uruguayan Primera División season, his team was relegated to the Uruguayan Segunda División. Juventud On 1 July 2006, Britos was transferred to Juventud de Las Piedras, where he achieved the promotion to the 2007–08 Uruguayan Top Division season. Wanderers On 1 July 2007, Britos signed a new contract with Montevideo Wanderers. Bologna Britos then moved to Italy on 22 July 2008 where he played for Bologna in the Serie A, signing a five-year contract for a €2 million transfer fee. Matías Britos Cardoso (born November 26, 1988), commonly known as Matías Britos, is a Uruguayan footballer who plays as a striker, most recently for Peñarol. He also holds Mexican citizenship. Club career Al-Hilal On 12 July 2017, Al-Hilal signed Matías Britos on a two-year contract. He made his debut for as a substitute for Abdullah Otayf in the 67th minute against Al-Fayha. Marcela Valeria Britos (born February 26, 1985 in Maldonado) is a Uruguayan track and field athlete, who specialized in middle distance running. She represented Uruguay at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, and competed in the women's 800 metres. She ran in the third heat of the event, against six other athletes, including Kenya's Pamela Jelimo Pamela Jelimo (born 5 December 1989) is a Kenyan middle-distance runner, specialising in the 800 metres. She won the gold medal in 800 metres at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing at the age of 18.
