British Road Federation
The British Road Federation was a Trade association, business organisation representing stakeholders of the road industry in the United Kingdom. The organisation was active since 1932 and ceased to exist in 2000. It represented companies and trade associations of the road construction, engineering, car manufacturing, transport, haulage and courier industries, road services and oil interests. It maintained a network of local groups, including Yorkshire Roads Group, Transport Action Scotland and East Anglia Roads to Prosperity. The Road Haulage Association Ltd (RHA) is a private company limited by guarantee dedicated to the interests of the road haulage industry. It is the only trade association in the United Kingdom dedicated solely to road haulage. As a trade association, the RHA is responsible for campaigning, advice, training, information and business services for its members within the UK haulage industry, including audits, risk assessments and contracts of employment.
