British Columbia Centennial Open
The British Columbia Open, commonly known as the B. C. Open, was a golf tournament that was held in British Columbia, Canada. It was held annually from 1928 until 1993 except for during the Second World War and 1958, when it was cancelled due to the celebratory British Columbia Centennial Open. The B. C. Open was a fixture on the Canadian Tour from the tours foundation, when it was the opening tournament in 1966, until 1993 when the British Columbia Professional Golfers Association decided to discontinue the event. British Columbia

Rick Gibson (golfer)
Rick Gibson (born October 27, 1961) is a Canadian professional golfer who plays primarily in Asia. Early life Gibson was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He played college golf at Brigham Young University, where he was an All-American in 1984. Professional career Gibson played on the Canadian Tour after turning professional in 1984. Elsewhere, he played on the Asia Golf Circuit, where he won the Order of Merit in 1991, which then qualified him for the Japan Golf Tour, where he won two tournaments. Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club
Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club is a private golf club in Canada, located on Southwest Marine Drive in Vancouver, British Columbia. History The Shaughnessy Heights Golf Course, today the Shaughnessy Golf and Country Club, had its beginning in 1911 in the office of CPR executive, Richard Marpole. Nine businessmen, all residents of the prestigious and quickly developing enclave of Shaughnessy, agreed to turn of land leased from the CPR into the Shaughnessy Heights Golf Course. The first nine holes opened on November 2, 1912; the second nine, the next year. The course was designed by A.V. Macan, an Irish immigrant from Wexford, who was one of the region's best golfers. In the decades to follow, many of the names who played a prominent role in Vancouver's growth and prosperity also appeared on Shaughnessy's membership roster. Brian Allin
Brian Thomas ("Bud" or "Buddy") Allin (October 13, 1944 – March 10, 2007) was an American professional golfer who won five PGA Tour events in the 1970s. Early life Allin was born in Bremerton, Washington. He learned to play golf at age 13 while working as a caddie at the Santa Barbara Municipal Golf Course in Santa Barbara, California. Amateur career A prodigal player, Allin attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and was a member on the golf team along with Johnny Miller. He served in the Army as an artillery officer during the Vietnam War earning four decorations including the Bronze Star and an Air medal. Terence Frank Small (6 January 1927 – 10 December 1983) was an international motorcycle speedway rider from England. He earned one international cap for the England national speedway team. Biography Small, born in Southampton, raced grasstrack in Egypt, while serving with the British Army. He began his British leagues career riding for Poole Pirates during the 1949 Speedway National League Division Three season. He quickly became a regular in the team and made significant progress over the following two seasons, averaging an impressive 9.60 during the 1951 season. The 1951 season ended with honours as Poole won the league title. Poole moved up a division in 1952 and Small was an integral part of the team when they won the league and cup double with relative ease. James Barker (born August 25, 1956) is a football executive and coach. He is currently employed by TSN as a CFL panelist. His most recent employment in Canadian football was a senior advisor for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Barker has been the general manager of the Calgary Stampeders from 2005–07, and the Argonauts from 2011-2016. He was also the head coach of the Argonauts in 1999, with the Stampeders in 2003, and then again with the Argos in 2010-11. He has also been a sports analyst for the CFL on TSN. Barker has also served as a football operations consultant and assistant coach for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Dave Barr (golfer)
David Allen Barr (born March 1, 1952) is a Canadian professional golfer who has played on the Canadian Tour, PGA Tour and Champions Tour. Barr was born in Kelowna, British Columbia. He attended Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma and was a member of the golf team. He finished as runner-up in the 1972 Canadian Amateur Championship. Barr turned professional in 1974. From 1974 to 1978, he played on the Canadian Professional Golf Tour, where he earned 12 victories. He played on the PGA Tour from 1978 to 2002. He continued to support the Canadian circuit by playing several events per year, even after he joined the PGA Tour, although the Canadian events had much lower prize money. Don Bies
Don Bies (born December 10, 1937) is an American professional golfer who has won tournaments on the PGA Tour, the Senior PGA Tour (now known as the Champions Tour), and in the Pacific Northwest Section of the PGA of America. Born in Cottonwood, Idaho, Bies attended Ballard High School in Seattle, Washington, and turned pro in 1957. His only PGA Tour win came at the 1975 Sammy Davis Jr.-Greater Hartford Open. His best finish in a major was a T-5 at the 1968 U.S. Open that was played at Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, New York. Bies is a three-time winner of the Washington Open (stroke play) and a six-time winner of the Washington State Match Play Championship and has won a host of other events in the Pacific Northwest. He left the PGA Tour in 1980 in order to devote full-time to his restaurant he had opened just outside Seattle.
