Britain's Got Talent (series 9)
The ninth series of British talent competition programme ''Britain's Got Talent'' was broadcast on ITV, from 11 April to 31 May 2015. The series saw the "Wildcard" format introduced in the sixth series being modified in this series to include a "Public Wildcard" – like the "Judges' Wildcard" any act eliminated in the semi-finals, primarily those that lost out in the Judges' vote, could be reinstated by the public, based on the one that received the most votes from them before the final. Although speculations and rumours began to emerge after the previous series ended, claiming that some of the judges would be leaving before the ninth series, these were later dismissed as being unfounded by ITV, on 16 January 2015. The ninth series was won by dog tricks duo Jules O'Dwyer & Matisse, with magician Jamie Raven finishing in second place, and Welsh choir Côr Glanaethwy placing third. Ant & Dec
Ant & Dec are a British television presenter, television presenting duo, consisting of Anthony McPartlin (born 18 November 1975) and Declan Donnelly (born 25 September 1975), from Newcastle upon Tyne, England. The Neales (band)
The Neales are a British, four part family harmony group made up of three brothers and their father. The family band reached the final of '' Britain's Got Talent 2015'', moving Simon Cowell to tears on live television with their semi-final performance of Cat Stevens' "Father and Son". In June 2016, The Neales released their self-penned debut single, " I'll Be There", which entered the UK Singles Chart at No. 22 in its first week, and knocked Adele off No. 1 in the Official UK Independent Singles Chart. Ruby Red Performers
The Ruby Red Performers are an amateur burlesque dancing troupe from the English seaside town of Withernsea, near Hull. Biography In April 2015, twelve members of the Ruby Red Performers appeared on series 9 of the primetime ITV variety show ''Britain's Got Talent''. They attended an audition held in the Lowry Theatre in MediaCity Salford where they performed a routine dressed as 1950s cleaning women dancing to Queen's "I Want to Break Free". Early on into their routine, Simon Cowell pressed his buzzer to indicate that he did not like the act, but shortly afterwards there was a tempo change in the routine and the women stripped down to large pairs of underwear, much to the delight of the audience and judges. Old Men Grooving, sometimes known as OMG, is a British dance group, best known for becoming a television sensation when they took part in the ninth series of ''Britain's Got Talent'' in 2015. The group, composed of five middle-aged men, represents a diverse background and is dedicated to sharing a variety of popular dance and “feel good” grooves. Isaac Waddington
Isaac Waddington (born 9 August 1999) is an English singer and pianist, who came to national attention when he appeared as a contestant on the TV programme ''Britain's Got Talent'' in 2015. Early life and education Waddington's singing career began as a chorister at Chichester Cathedral, during which time he also attended The Prebendal School. He went on to become Head Chorister of the cathedral choir and studied at The Portsmouth Grammar School. Ysgol Glanaethwy
Ysgol Glanaethwy is a drama school in Bangor, Gwynedd, Wales. It is known in particular for its choir, Côr Glanaethwy. History Ysgol Glanaethwy was opened in 1990, founded by Cefin and Rhian Roberts. It is a performing arts school that operates outside normal school hours. Younger children take acting lessons and choir practice and the older pupils have choir practice only. The school became well known when its choir for older pupils took part in the UK TV channel BBC 1's ''Last Choir Standing'' show in 2008.
