Brit Awards 2022
Brit Awards 2022, presented by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI), was held on 8 February 2022 to recognize the best in British and international music. The ceremony took place at The O2 Arena in London, and was hosted by British comedian Mo Gilligan. The BPI announced in November 2021 that the Brit Awards would no longer use gendered categories, and that it would also revive the categories for best Alternative/Rock Act, Dance Act, Hip Hop/Rap/Grime Act, and Pop/R&B Act. Nominations were announced on 18 December 2021, with Adele, Dave, Ed Sheeran, and Little Simz tied for the most nominations, and the largest number of nominations given to female acts since Brit Awards 2010. Mo Gilligan
Mosiah Bikila Gilligan (born 19 February 1988) is a British stand-up comedian. He is known for his observational comedy. After several years of uploading comedy clips to social media, he found global success in 2017. He hosted ''The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan'' (2019) on Channel 4. He currently co-hosts ''The Big Narstie Show'' on Channel 4, and is a judge on ''The Masked Singer UK'' since the second series in 2020, and a judge on '' The Masked Dancer UK'' since 2021. In 2022 Gilligan took a break from ''The Masked Dancer UK'' due to work issues, and was replaced by Peter Crouch. Brit Awards 2010
Brit Awards 2010 was the 30th edition of the British Phonographic Industry's annual Brit Awards. The awards ceremony was held at Earls Court in London for the last time. The ceremony was broadcast live on ITV on Tuesday 16 February 2010. It was hosted by Peter Kay with Fearne Cotton doing the side of stage coverage. ITV2 broadcast an after show highlights programme immediately after the main broadcast. BBC Radio 1 had official radio coverage throughout the day in the run up to the evening's show, with Scott Mills and Greg James on the Red Carpet. The ceremony was broadcast live, but with a short delay to enable any offensive language to be cut. This occurred several times during the course of the evening, most notably when Liam Gallagher collected the Best Album of 30 Years award and also during Lily Allen's acceptance speech for Best British Female. Bring Me the Horizon (often abbreviated as BMTH) are a British rock band formed in Sheffield in 2004. The group consists of lead vocalist Oliver Sykes, guitarist Lee Malia, bassist Matt Kean, drummer Matt Nicholls and keyboardist Jordan Fish. Grace Barker (born 20 February 1998, Brighton), known professionally as Gracey (stylised in all caps), is an English singer who made her breakthrough in 2020 when she collaborated with 220 Kid on the BRIT nominated single " Don't Need Love". The song reached a peak of number 9 for two weeks on the UK Singles Chart. Gracey's family consists of her mother who worked in production at the BBC, her father in the advertising industry, and two older brothers. Joel Corry (born 10 June 1989) is an English DJ, producer and television personality. He came to prominence in 2019 with the release of his single " Sorry", featuring vocals from Hayley May (who was not credited in the official music video), which reached number six in the UK Singles Chart. Glass Animals
Glass Animals are an English indie pop band formed in Oxford in 2010. Founded and led by singer, songwriter, and producer Dave Bayley, the group also features his childhood friends Joe Seaward, Ed Irwin-Singer and Drew MacFarlane.
