Tapleys Hill Road is a north–south arterial road which runs parallel to the coast through western Adelaide, Australia. This name covers many consecutive streets and is not widely known to most drivers except for the northernmost section, as the entire allocation is still best known as by the names of its constituent parts: Tapleys Hill Road proper, Brighton Road, Ocean Boulevard, Lonsdale Road, Dyson Road, Murray Road, and Gawler Street. Glenelg North, South Australia
Glenelg North is a seaside suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. It is located in both the City of Holdfast Bay and the City of West Torrens. Demographics The 2011 Census by the Australian Bureau of Statistics counted 5,699 persons in Glenelg North on census night. Of these, 50.7% were male and 49.3% were female. The majority of residents (72.9%) are of Australian birth, with the other common census response being England (7.6%). Brighton is a coastal suburb of Adelaide, South Australia, situated between Seacliff and Glenelg and aside Holdfast Bay. Some notable features of the area are the Brighton-Seacliff Yacht Club, the Brighton Surf Lifesaving Club, the Brighton Jetty, and a beach. Port Adelaide is a port-side region of Adelaide, approximately northwest of the Adelaide CBD. Flagstaff Road is an arterial road in the southern suburbs of Adelaide in South Australia, Australia. It is one of the roads that carries commuter traffic between the city on the coastal plain and residential suburbs in the Adelaide Hills. Route The northern end branches off of South Road at Darlington at a traffic light intersection with Marion Road opposite. Most of the road is in the suburb of Flagstaff Hill. The Royal Adelaide Golf Club (often referred to as Seaton) is a private Australian golf club located in the Adelaide suburb of Seaton, northwest of the city centre. Christies Beach, South Australia
Christies Beach is a seaside suburb in the southern Adelaide metropolitan area, within the City of Onkaparinga. The area is scenic and hence popular with photographers as Witton Bluff provides a natural vantage point over the entire suburb and beyond. Lonsdale, South Australia
Lonsdale is an industrial suburb south of Adelaide, South Australia, within the City of Onkaparinga. Lonsdale was farmed from shortly after European settlement until the 1950s, when the South Australian Housing Trust acquired much of the land for industrial use. Mobil's Port Stanvac Refinery and Chrysler's engine foundry were followed by many other manufacturing and service industries. Subsequent suburban development of surrounding areas has driven demand for a wide range of service-oriented businesses in the area. Port Stanvac Refinery and the Mitsubishi (formerly Chrysler) engine plant closed in 2004, with both sites remaining unused as of 2007.
