Asa Brigham
Asa Brigham (31 August 1788 – 3 July 1844) was a Texas politician, businessman and signer of the Texas Declaration of Independence (1836), which declared independence from Mexico. He served as Texas Treasurer and mayor of Austin, Texas. Biography Asa Brigham was born in Marlborough, Massachusetts, on 31 August 1788 to Lewis Brigham and Mary Rice Brigham. Marriage banns for Brigham and Elizabeth Swift Babcock were published 9 Dec 1810 at Watertown, Massachusetts. He resided at Lunenburg, Massachusetts, from 1810 to 1816 and was employed as a tailor. He immigrated in 1816 to Alexandria, Louisiana, after suffering a fire and loss of his business. By the time he arrived in Texas from Louisiana in April 1830, he was married and had two sons, Samuel and Benjamin, and a married daughter, Adeliza Lewis Brigham. Harold Brigham
Harold "Harry" Brigham (born 1914) was an English footballer who played in the Football League for Nottingham Forest, Stoke City and York City. Career Born in Selby, West Riding of Yorkshire, Brigham started his career at Bolton Wanderers as an amateur before playing for Frickley Colliery. Following persistent overtures from Stoke City, he eventually joined Football League side in May 1936. He went on make 104 appearances in the Football League for Stoke as well as 216 in the wartime league. He also played for Chester and Wrexham as a wartime guest. He left in November 1946 just after the end of the war to join Nottingham Forest for a fee of £4,000, where he made 35 league appearances. He went on to sign for York City in July 1948. Philip (Phil) Brigham is a Canadian rock singer, composer and guitarist. Early life Brigham became interested in music from a very early age. He played the saxophone in the school band from 4th to 9th grades, His first major influences were seeing Ricky Nelson on "The Adventures of Ozzie And Harriet" and The Beatles first appearance on ''The Ed Sullivan Show'' in February 1964. Paul Brigham
Paul Brigham (January 1746June 15, 1824) was an American Revolutionary soldier and Democratic-Republican politician. He was the second lieutenant governor of Vermont after that state was admitted to the Union in 1791, and upon the death of Vermont's first governor Thomas Chittenden, served as governor for the last seven weeks of Chittenden's term. Louise Brigham
Louise Brigham (January 1, 1875 – March 30, 1956) was an American early-20th-century designer and teacher. She was a pioneering champion of the use of recycled materials in furniture design. A system she invented for building furniture out of packing crates represents one of the earliest to adopt a modular approach to the design of individual units. She also founded one of the earliest ready-to-assemble furniture companies, as well as the Home Thrift Organization (HTA) to teach woodworking to New York City boys. In 1940, she received a medal from the HTA in honor of her quarter century of service to the organization. Jeff John Brigham (born February 16, 1992) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the New York Mets of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2018 with the Miami Marlins.
