Bob Brier
Robert Brier (; born December 13, 1943) is an American Egyptologist specializing in paleopathology. A senior research fellow at Long Island University/LIU Post, he has researched and published on mummies and the mummification process and has appeared in many Discovery Civilization, TLC Network, and National Geographic documentaries, primarily on ancient Egypt. Background Born and raised in The Bronx, New York, Brier earned his bachelor's degree from Hunter College of the City University of New York. He earned his PhD in philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1970 and began teaching at Long Island University in 1972. He served as chairman of the philosophy department from 1981 to 1996 and has also served as the director of the National Endowment for the Humanities' "Egyptology Today" program. Hannah Brier
Hannah Brier (born 3 February 1998) is a British sprinter who won the 200 metres event at the 2022 British Indoor Athletics Championships. She competed at the 2014 and 2022 Commonwealth Games. Career Brier trains at Swansea Harriers Athletics Club, and has previously competed for Loughborough. As a youngster, Brier held seven Welsh age groups records, including in the long jump event. In May 2014, Brier, Mica Moore, Hannah Thomas, and Rachel Johncock broke the Welsh 4 × 100 metres relay national record at the Loughborough International event. At the age of 16, she competed for Wales at the 2014 Commonwealth Games. It was her first senior level international competition. She was initially only selected for the 4 × 100 metres relay event, but was later additionally chosen for the individual 100 metres competition. Kathy Brier (born March 10, 1975) is an American actress and singer, known for her work on ABC soap opera ''One Life to Live'' and the Broadway production of ''Hairspray''. Early life Brier grew up in Staten Island, New York where she attended Moore Catholic High School before studying theatre and business at Wagner College, qualifying for a Bachelor of Science in arts administration. Markus Brier
Markus Brier (born 5 July 1968) is an Austrian professional golfer. He won twice on the European Tour and in 2008 was his country's second highest ranked player, behind Bernd Wiesberger. Career Brier won the Swiss and German Amateur Opens in the mid-1990s, and turned professional in 1995 at a relatively late age. Nine top ten finishes, including five top threes, on the 1999 Challenge Tour earned him third place on the season ending money list and playing privileges on the European Tour for 2000. He retained his tour card through his final position on the order of merit every year, except for 2002 and 2010 when he regained it through final qualifying school. Since joining the European Tour, Brier has continued to play in his home event, the Austrian Open, winning it on two occasions during a period when it was a Challenge Tour event.
