Brice Wembangomo
Brice Wembangomo (born 18 December 1996) is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Eliteserien club Bodø/Glimt. He is of Congolese descent. Career He joined Sarpsborg 08 from Sarpsborg FK while a youth player, and made his senior debut in September 2014 against Start. After this one game he was sent on loan to Kvik Halden FK in the entire 2015 season, and to Fredrikstad FK in the latter part of 2016. After this he moved permanently to FK Jerv in 2017 and Sandefjord Fotball in 2019. In June 2020 he played the season opener for Sandefjord, his first first-tier game in six years and his second overall. Bodø/Glimt On 3 January 2022, Bodø/Glimt announced that they had signed Wembangomo on a three-year contract that would run until December 2024. Celtic Park is the home stadium of Celtic Football Club, in the Parkhead area of Glasgow, Scotland. The 2021 Eliteserien was the 77th completed season of top-tier football in Norway. This was fifth season of Eliteserien as rebranding from Tippeligaen. The season was originally scheduled to begin on 5 April and end on 27 November 2021, not including play-off matches. The 2020 Eliteserien was the 76th season of top-tier football in Norway. This was fourth season of Eliteserien as rebranding from Tippeligaen. The season was scheduled to begin on 4 April, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Norway the opening games of the season were delayed, first until 2 May, then further delayed until 23 May. The season was scheduled to end 29 November 2020, not including play-off matches, but was rescheduled to conclude on 22 December. On 7 May, the Norwegian government allowed the league to start on 16 June with full training starting immediately. Molde were the defending champions. Norwegian First Division
The Norwegian First Division, also called 1. divisjon and OBOS-ligaen (named sponsor is property developer OBOS), is the second-highest level of the Norwegian football league system. Each year, the top finishing teams in the 1. divisjon are promoted to the Eliteserien, and the lowest finishing teams are relegated to 2. divisjon. 1. divisjon was previously known as 2. divisjon (1963–1990) and replaced regional league Landsdelsserien (1951–1962) after the latter was dissolved after the 1961–62 season. The 2014 Tippeligaen was the 70th completed season of top division football in Norway. The competition began on 28 March 2014, two weeks later than in the previous season. A three-week summer-break in June was scheduled due to the 2014 FIFA World Cup, and the decisive match was played on 9 November 2014. Strømsgodset were the defending champions. Hugues Wembangomo
Hugues Wembangomo (born 10 May 1992) is a Norwegian former footballer who played as a right back. He has previously played for Sarpsborg 08 and Aalesund, as well as represented Norway at youth international level. Club career Wembangomo was born in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, and moved to Østfold in Norway with his family when he was nine years old. During his youth he played for Tveter IL and Borgen IL before he moved to the then second tier team Sarpsborg 08 in late 2008. In 2010, Sarpsborg was promoted to Tippeligaen and on 17 April 2011 he made his debut in Norway's top league when he replaced Berat Jusufi after 70 minutes in the match against Strømsgodset. In total he played 19 matches for Sarpsborg in Tippeligaen in 2011. Sarpsborg was relegated after the 2011-season, and on 24 February 2012 Wembangomo transferred to Aalesund.
