Brice Owona (born 4 March 1989 in Yaoundé) is a professional Cameroonian footballer currently playing for APEJES. Club career Owona began his career in January 2002 for AS Fortuna Yaoundé and was in summer 2005 scouted by Cotonsport Garoua. On 12 February 2010 FC St. Gallen has committed the midfielder of Cotonsport Garoua, the offensive player signed a contract until 2012 with FC St. Gallen. On the same day he made his debut for the Ostschweizer club in a friendly game against the Austrian club FC Dornbirn 1913. Yaoundé
Yaoundé (; , ) is the capital of Cameroon and, with a population of more than 2.8 million, the second-largest city in the country after the port city Douala. It lies in the Centre Region of the nation at an elevation of about 750 metres (2,500 ft) above sea level. The outpost of Epsumb or Jeundo was founded between the Nyong and Sanaga rivers at the northern edge of the area's forests in 1887 by German explorers as a trading base for rubber and ivory. A military garrison was built in 1895 which enabled further colonization. After Imperial Germany's defeat in World War I, France held eastern Cameroon as a mandate, and Yaoundé was chosen to become the capital of the colony in 1922. Douala remained the more important settlement, but Yaoundé saw rapid growth and continued as the seat of government for the Republic of Cameroon upon its independence in 1960. 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup
The 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup was the 17th edition of the FIFA U-20 World Cup, which was hosted by Egypt from 24 September to 16 October 2009. The tournament was initially going to take place between 10 and 31 July. However, the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup was played mid-year, resulting in both that year's U-20 and 2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup, U-17 World Cups being played at the end of the year.
