Brian Wilson (tennis)
Brian Wilson (born May 23, 1982) is a former professional tennis player from the United States. Career Wilson played collegiate tennis for the University of Illinois. He earned All-American selection as both a singles and doubles player during his college career. In 2003 he was a member of the team which won the NCAA Championships and he was also the doubles champion, partnering Rajeev Ram. It was with Ram that he took part in the men's doubles at the 2003 US Open, where they were beaten in the first round by Robby Ginepri and Bobby Reynolds. On the ATP Tour, Wilson had his best performance at the 2006 SAP Open in San Jose, California, beating Ivo Karlović, then 61st in the world. After making his way through qualifying, he made his Grand Slam singles debut in the 2007 Australian Open. Lexington Challenger
The Lexington Challenger (previously known as the Kentucky Bank Tennis Championships and the Fifth Third Bank Tennis Championships) is a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hardcourts. It is currently part of the ATP Challenger Tour and the ITF Women's World Tennis Tour, and has been held annually at the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Complex in Lexington, Kentucky, since 1995 for men and since 1997 for women. The prize money offered at the tournament is $50,000 for men and $60,000 for women (although in 1997–98 it was $25,000 for women). Massimo Dell'Acqua (born 6 September 1979) is a former professional tennis player from Italy. Biography Dell'Acqua comes from Como and trained at the Centro Tecnico Nazionale before turning professional in 1999. His first ATP Tour main draw appearance came at Copenhagen in 2003, when he lost to Marc Rosset in the first round. In 2004 he featured in tournaments in Dubai, Barcelona and most notably the Rome Masters. In Rome he lost a close match to world number 11 Nicolás Massú, which went for 3 hours and 20 minutes. The 2007 Australian Open was a Grand Slam tennis tournament held in Melbourne, Australia from 15 January until 28 January 2007. The total prize pool was set at exactly A$20 million, with the winners of both the men's and women's singles competition each receiving A$1,281,000. Over 500 players competed in 2007.
