Brian Stuard
Brian Stuard (born December 10, 1982) is an American professional golfer, currently playing on the PGA Tour. Born and raised in Jackson, Michigan, Stuard graduated from Napoleon High School in 2001. He played college golf at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, then in the Mid-Continent Conference, and earned a bachelor's degree in management in 2005. Stuard turned professional in 2005 and played on the NGA Hooters Tour in 2006 and 2007. He has played on the Nationwide Tour since 2008. He finished tied for 19th at the 2009 PGA Tour Qualifying School to earn his PGA Tour card for 2010. On the PGA Tour in 2010, he played in 28 events and made 13 cuts. His best finish was a tie for second at the Mayakoba Golf Classic at Riviera Maya-Cancun. He finished 154th on the money list and returned to the Nationwide Tour in 2011. Jackson, Michigan
Jackson is the only city and county seat of Jackson County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 33,534, down from 36,316 at the 2000 census. Located along Interstate 94 and U.S. Route 127, it is approximately west of Ann Arbor and south of Lansing. The Open Championship
The Open Championship, often referred to as The Open or the British Open, is the oldest golf tournament in the world, and one of the most prestigious. Founded in 1860, it was originally held annually at Prestwick Golf Club in Scotland. Later the venue rotated between a select group of coastal links golf courses in the United Kingdom. The WGC-HSBC Champions was a professional golf tournament, held annually in China. Inaugurated in 2005, the first seven editions were played at the Sheshan Golf Club in Shanghai, then moved to the Mission Hills Golf Club in Shenzhen for a single year in 2012. The WGC Invitational was a professional golf tournament that was held in the United States. Established in 1999 as a successor to the World Series of Golf, it was one of three or four annual World Golf Championships (WGC) until 2021, when the number of WGC events was reduced to two. Under sponsorship agreements, the WGC Invitational was titled as the WGC-NEC Invitational (1999–2005) and the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational (2006–2018). The WGC Match Play, currently titled as the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play for sponsorship reasons, is a professional men's golf tournament that has been held since 1999. It is the only one of the World Golf Championships to have been contested using the match play format. Since 2016, it has been held at the Austin Country Club in Austin, Texas, United States.
