Brian Stemmle
Brian Stemmle (born October 12, 1966) is a Canadian retired skier who competed primarily in the downhill and Super-G disciplines. Stemmle was a member of the Canadian Alpine Ski Team for 14 years and was inducted into the Canadian Ski Hall of Fame in 2002. He appeared at four Winter Olympic Games from 1988 through 1998. Olympics Stemmle represented Canada at four Winter Olympic Games. At the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, Stemmle competed in the downhill event, but missed a gate on his run and was disqualified. At the 1992 Games in Albertville, Stemmle finished 23rd in the downhill competition. Competing in the Super-G event at the 1994 Olympics, Stemmle finished 26th. Stemmle's fourth time at the Olympics was at the 1998 Games in Nagano, competing in both the Super-G and downhill. Aurora, Ontario
Aurora ( 2021 population: 62,057) is a town in central York Region in the Greater Toronto Area, within the Golden Horseshoe of Southern Ontario, Canada. It is located north of the City of Richmond Hill and is partially situated on the Oak Ridges Moraine. 1990 Winter Pan American Games
The 1990 Winter Pan American Games were held in Las Leñas, Argentina, from 16 September to 22 September 1990. Las Leñas
Las Leñas is a ski resort in Argentina, located in the western part of Mendoza Province. It has reliable powder snow and climate for extreme and off-piste skiing. Construction of the ski center began January 1983, and by July 1983, it opened with a 300 bed hotel. The ski area has a good diversity of slopes ranging from very easy to extreme, including a good range of off-piste areas apt for extreme skiing.
