Brian Roberson
Brian Roberson is a former record-setting receiver for Fresno State University and the XFL's San Francisco Demons. Sylmar High Roberson was a standout receiver/defensive back for the Spartans during the 1990-91 seasons. As a Junior in 1990, Roberson caught 16 passes for 222 yards and 2 touchdowns, while also returning an interception for a touchdown. Roberson was named 1st team All-Valley Pac-8 conference as a junior. As a senior in 1991, Roberson recorded 28 receptions for 464 yards and 5 touchdowns. His total of 15 touchdowns included a record-setting performance against Van Nuys, as he scored touchdowns four different ways: 29-yard reception, 30-yard run, 82-yard punt return, and a 98-yard interception return. XFL (2001)
The XFL was a professional American football league that played its only season in 2001. The XFL was operated as a joint venture between the WWE, World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE) and NBC. The XFL was conceived as an outdoor football league that would begin play immediately after the National Football League (NFL) season ended, to take advantage of the perceived lingering public desire to watch football after the NFL and college football seasons conclude. San Francisco Demons
The San Francisco Demons (originally named San Jose Demons) were a short-lived springtime American football team based in San Francisco, California. This team was part of the failed XFL begun by Vince McMahon of World Wrestling Entertainment and by NBC, a major television network in the United States. Originally they were to be based in San Jose but prior to the start of the season they were moved to San Francisco. They were in the Western Division with the Los Angeles Xtreme, Las Vegas Outlaws and Memphis Maniax. The team played in Pacific Bell Park in San Francisco; despite having the smallest stadium in the league, they also had the highest average attendance (34,954). Trent Farris Dilfer (born March 13, 1972) is an American football coach and former quarterback who is the head coach for the UAB Blazers football team. Dilfer previously played in the National Football League (NFL) for 14 seasons. He achieved his greatest professional success as the starting quarterback of the Baltimore Ravens during their Super Bowl-winning season in 2000. He is also the Tampa Bay Buccaneers all-time leader in quarterback starts. Fargodome is an indoor athletic stadium and convention center in the north central United States, located on the campus of North Dakota State University (NDSU) in Fargo, North Dakota. The Saskatchewan Roughriders are a professional Canadian football team based in Regina, Saskatchewan.
