Brian Hudson (boxer)
Brian Hudson (born March 1, 1991) is a former American football quarterback. He was signed by the Calgary Stampeders as an undrafted free agent in 2014. He played college football at Campbell University after transferring out of Liberty University. College career Hudson committed to Liberty University on December 29, 2008. Hudson redshirted during his true freshman season, and did not see any playing time during his redshirt freshman season. Hudson saw limited action during his sophomore season, appearing in 3 games as a backup. With Mike Brown graduating in 2012, Hudson won the starting quarterback position for the Flames for the 2012 season. After falling out of the starting quarterback position at Liberty, Hudson transferred to Campbell University for his last season of eligibility. Liberty University (LU) is a private Baptist university in Lynchburg, Virginia. It is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Conservatives of Virginia (Southern Baptist Convention). Bemidji Axemen
The Bemidji Axemen were a professional indoor football team based in Bemidji, Minnesota. The Axemen joined the Indoor Football League (IFL) as an expansion team in 2013 and first took the field for the 2014 season. They participated in the United Conference of the IFL. The Axemen played their home games at the Sanford Center in Bemidji. The Axemen are the first-ever indoor/arena football team to call Bemidji home, as well as Minnesota's first indoor/arena football team since the Duluth-Superior Lumberjacks and the Mankato-based Minnesota Purple Rage both played in the original Indoor Football League for the 2000 season, the league's last before folding. The Indoor Football League (IFL) is a professional indoor American football league created in 2008 out of the merger between the Intense Football League and United Indoor Football. It has one of the largest number of currently active teams among indoor football leagues. The league has operated continuously under the same name and corporate structure longer than any other current indoor football league. With the closure of the Arena Football League in 2019, the IFL is the oldest active professional indoor football league in North America. As of 2022 season, the league consists of 14 teams in two conferences with each team playing 16 games over 19 weeks.
