Brian Hill is a Canadian entrepreneur and the founder and Executive Chair of Vancouver-based clothing company Aritzia. After the opening of its first location in 1984, the company has grown steadily in its thirty years of operation, servicing a demographic of young women and employing more than 2,300 staff. Unlike most comparable retailers such as H&M, Aritzia designs and produces many in house brands including: TNA, Talula, Babaton, Wilfred, Wilfred Free, Community, Le Fou, La Notte, Sunday Best, Paradise Mine, The Castings, SIXELEVEN and Auxiliary. Queen's University at Kingston, commonly known as Queen's University or simply Queen's, is a public research university in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Oakridge Centre (and formerly known as ''Oakridge Mall'') is a shopping centre in the Oakridge neighborhood of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is located at the intersection of West 41st Avenue and Cambie Street. It was originally opened in 1959 by Woodward's Stores which anchored the centre until it was sold to Hudson's Bay in 1993. A Target was originally planned but however in 2015 Target Canada filed for bankruptcy protection and announced the closing of all stores cancelling 4 locations. It is one of the two largest malls located within the city of Vancouver, the other being CF Pacific Centre, and along with Pacific Centre are two of the most profitable shopping centres in Canada. Oakridge is a neighbourhood in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, with a multicultural residential and commercial area. It had a population of 13,030 in 2016, of which approximately 50 percent have Chinese as their mother tongue. History The Oakridge area was one of the last parts of Vancouver to be left in its natural state, with the exception of a golf course built near West 49th and Cambie in 1926 and some institutional construction including hospitals and boarding schools prior to World War II.
