Brian Greer (ice Hockey)
Brian Greer (born July 15, 1974, in Orillia, Ontario) is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender who last played for the Odense Bulldogs in the top Danish ice hockey league, AL-Bank Ligaen. Professional career Following Greer's junior hockey with the Gloucester Rangers in the CJHL, he played two years with the Muskegon Fury of the Colonial Hockey League. Greer spent the next 6 seasons playing for the Bracknell Bees of the Ice Hockey Superleague (ISL) in the United Kingdom. The Bees were league champions in the 1999–2000 season. Greer signed with SønderjyskE of the Danish AL-Bank Ligaen for the 2003–04 season and has played in Denmark since then. He has played for two championship teams in Denmark, in 2005–06 and in 2008–09; both SønderjyskE teams. Greer has also played for Aalborg in the Danish ice hockey league. In ice hockey, the goaltender (commonly referred to as the goalie) is the player responsible for preventing the hockey puck from entering their team's net, thus preventing the opposing team from scoring. Ice Hockey Superleague
The British Ice Hockey Superleague (BISL, also known as the Sekonda Ice Hockey Superleague from 1998 to 1999 for sponsorship reasons) was a professional ice hockey league in the United Kingdom between 1996 and 2003. Devised in 1995, it replaced the premier division of the British Hockey League at the end of 1995–1996 season; following the major reshuffle of the league and the split between the first and second tier divisions; with the British National League becoming the new second tier division. It was disbanded after the 2002-03 season and replaced by the Elite Ice Hockey League. Joe Ferraccioli
Joe Ferras, also known as Joe Ferraccioli, (born May 1, 1966) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. Ferras is currently the general manager for the Rapid City Rush of the ECHL. Ferras began his professional playing career in 1988, signing as a free agent with the Adirondack Red Wings of the American Hockey League (AHL). He went on to play 12 seasons of professional hockey in the North American minor leagues and Europe. An eye injury, while playing with the New Mexico Scorpions of the Western Professional Hockey League during the 1999–2000 season, ended his playing career, and Ferras began his coaching career as an assistant with the Scorpions. From 2001 to 2006, Ferras served as the head coach of the Amarillo Rattlers in the Central Hockey League (CHL), and he was an assistant coach with the 2006-07 Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the AHL.
