Brian William Green (born 15 May 1941 in Ormskirk) is a British former sprinter. Background Green attended Walton Grammar School and worked as an advertising assistant. He came to sprinting late, having previously divided his time between other sporting interests including squash, badminton, and hockey. Sprinting career Standing at Green was once told he was too short to be a sprinter. Despite this, at the age of 31, Green became the fastest man in Britain, recording a time of 10.1 seconds in Bratislava. Green competed in the 1972 Summer Olympics. He represented England and won a bronze medallist at the 1970 British Commonwealth Games in the 4×100 metres relay. Orson Scott Card (born August 24, 1951) is an American writer known best for his science fiction works. He is the first and (as of 2022) only person to win both a Hugo Award and a Nebula Award in consecutive years, winning both awards for both his novel ''Ender's Game'' (1985) and its sequel ''Speaker for the Dead'' (1986). Brian Green is an American baseball coach and former player, who is the current head baseball coach of the Washington State Cougars. He played college baseball at Riverside City College, Chapman University, and New Mexico State University between 1991 to 1994. Brian Geoffrey Green (5 June 1935 – 14 August 2012) is an English former football coach and player. As a player, he competed in the Football League as a forward in the 1950s and 1960s for Rochdale, Southport, Barrow, Exeter City and Chesterfield.
