Brian Eddy
Brian R. Eddy is an American game designer and programmer, best known for designing '' Attack From Mars'' pinball for Midway and programming ''FunHouse'' and, with Larry DeMar, '' The Machine: Bride of Pin*Bot''. While at Williams Electronics / Midway Games, he also designed ''Medieval Madness'', and programmed '' Indiana Jones: The Pinball Adventure''. After the closure of Midway's pinball division in 1999, Eddy moved to Midway's video game division, where he worked on '' Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy'', and several games in the ''Mortal Kombat'' franchise. Currently, Eddy is the President and Chief Creative Officer of Spooky Cool Labs, a game design firm founded by former Williams programmer Larry DeMar. Spider-Man (pinball)
''Spider-Man'' is a pinball machine designed by Steve Ritchie and manufactured by Stern Pinball that was first released in June 2007. The table encompasses all three films in Sam Raimi's ''Spider-Man'' trilogy, which in turn were based on the prior comics and television series. In 2016, the game was remanufactured as part of its "Vault" series of re-releases, this time with all the movie elements of the machine replaced with an ''Ultimate Spider-Man''-based theme. Game details The goal of the table is to defeat the villains from all three movies: Green Goblin from '' Spider-Man'', Doctor Octopus from ''Spider-Man 2'', Sandman and Venom from '' Spider-Man 3''. Pinball Game Designers
Pinball games are a family of games in which a ball is propelled into a specially designed table where it bounces off various obstacles, scoring points either en route or when it comes to rest. Historically the board was studded with nails called 'pins' and had hollows or pockets which scored points if the ball came to rest in them. Today, pinball is most commonly an arcade game in which the ball is fired into a specially designed cabinet known as a pinball machine, hitting various lights, bumpers, ramps, and other targets depending on its design. The game's object is generally to score as many points as possible by hitting these targets and making various shots with flippers before the ball is lost. Most pinball machines use one ball per turn (except during special multi-ball phases), and the game ends when the ball(s) from the last turn are lost. Arctic Thunder
''Arctic Thunder'' is a snowmobile racing game developed by Midway Games. It was released as an arcade game, as well as on the Sony PlayStation 2 and Xbox consoles, and was a launch title for the latter. In the arcade version of the game, jets blow cold or hot winds, depending on the setting, in the player's face during gameplay. ''Arctic Thunder'' is part of Midway's ''Thunder'' series, which also included ''Hydro Thunder'', '' 4 Wheel Thunder'', '' Offroad Thunder'', and '' Hydro Thunder Hurricane''. The Xbox version of this game is not compatible with the Xbox 360. A Dreamcast port was also planned but was cancelled due to sagging sales of the console. ''Black Rose'' is a pinball machine designed by John Trudeau and Brian Eddy and produced by Midway (released under the ''Bally'' name). The game features a pirate theme and was advertised with the slogan ''"This game is loaded!".'' ''Bally'' abandoned the idea to use black pinballs for the machine. Gameplay The basic goal of the game is to sink ships. The game features a rotating cannon situated underneath the playfield used to aim the ball at targets to award letters in the word "SINK SHIP". During multiball you also get letters for shooting flashing ramps. Once SINK SHIP is spelled, you load the cannon to light the center shot (the "Broadside") to get big points. Steven Ritchie
Steven Scott Ritchie (born February 13, 1950) is an American pinball and video game designer. His career began in the 1970s, Ritchie holds the record for best-selling pinball designer in history. He has been called "The Master of Flow" due to the emphasis in his designs on ball speed, loops, and long smooth shots. Ritchie was also the original voice of Shao Kahn in the ''Mortal Kombat'' fighting game series, serving as the announcer of ''Mortal Kombat II'' (1993), ''Mortal Kombat 3'' (1995), and the updates to ''Mortal Kombat 3''.
