Brian Doughty
Brian Doughty is a former member of the Utah House of Representatives, representing the 30th District in Salt Lake County. He was selected on July 16, 2011 by local Democratic delegates to replace state representative Jackie Biskupski, who had resigned when she moved out of the district. He was sworn in on July 20, 2011. In the redistricting process that followed the 2010 census, Doughty's home was placed in the 26th district, along with that of House Minority Leader David Litvack. A contested Democratic primary between the two incumbents seemed to be on the cards until, in March 2012, Litvack announced that he would retire rather than seek re-election. Doughty lost his bid for re-election in the new district at the Salt Lake County Convention. Jackie Biskupski
Jackie Biskupski (born January 11, 1966) is an American Democratic politician, who served as the 35th Mayor of Salt Lake City, Utah. Upon taking office, Biskupski became Salt Lake City's 35th mayor, the city's first openly gay mayor, and the second female mayor (after Deedee Corradini). She is also a former member of the Utah House of Representatives, representing the 30th District in Salt Lake County from 1999 to 2011. Early life In 2009, Biskupski adopted a son named Archie. On August 14, 2016, she married longtime partner Betty Iverson, who also has a son (named Jack). She currently lives in the Sugar House neighborhood of Salt Lake City. David Litvack
David E. Litvack (born April 25, 1972) is a former Democratic member of the Utah State House of Representatives, who represented the state's 26th house district in central Salt Lake City and part of West Valley City, from 2000 through 2012. He was the minority leader in the Utah House. Early years Litvack was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Education Litvack obtained his BS in psychology/sociology from Westminster College in 1994 where he is also a current Alumni Board member.
