Brian Dobie
Brian Dobie (born February 16, 1953) is a former Canadian football wide receiver and the current head coach for the University of Manitoba's football team, the Manitoba Bisons. Brian became Manitoba's head coach in 1996 after serving as head coach for Churchill High School in Winnipeg for 21 years. His Bisons have appeared in two Vanier Cups, winning in 2007. Dobie coached long-time NFL player Israel Idonije and many CFL players such as Don Oramasionwu and Brady Browne and former player and the acting CEO of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers Wade Miller . Manitoba Bisons
The Manitoba Bisons are the athletic teams that represent the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The football team plays their games at Investors Group Field. The soccer team play their home games at the University of Manitoba Soccer Fields while the track and field teams use the University Stadium as their home track. The University has 18 different teams in 10 sports: basketball, curling, cross country running, Canadian football, golf, ice hockey, soccer, swimming, track & field, and volleyball. The Sports Network (TSN) is a Canadian English language sports specialty channel established by the Labatt Brewing Company in 1984 as part of the first group of Canadian specialty cable channels. Wade Miller (born June 10, 1973) is the current President and Chief Executive Officer of the Canadian Football League's Winnipeg Blue Bombers and a former professional Canadian football player. Football career After four seasons with the Manitoba Bisons, Miller was drafted by the Blue Bombers in the fourth round (37th overall) in the 1995 CFL Draft. He played 11 seasons in the CFL, all with the Blue Bombers, appearing in 159 regular season games and eight playoff games. Drafted as a linebacker, Miller moved to fullback because of his small stature and was a fixture on the Blue Bombers special teams. He was twice named to the CFL East Division All-Star team (1997, 1999) and is third all-time in special teams tackles with 184, behind Mike Miller and Jason Arakgi. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are a professional Canadian football team based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Donald Oramasionwu (; born June 4, 1986) is a professional Canadian football defensive lineman. Oramasionwu was drafted in the fifth round (39th overall) of the 2008 CFL Draft by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He attended training camp with the team but returned to the University of Manitoba for his senior year, becoming a Canada West all-star. On February 20, 2009, Oramasionwu signed with the Blue Bombers and played for three seasons with the team. He was signed as a free agent on February 15, 2012 by the Edmonton Eskimos.
