Brian Dawson (darts Player)
Brian "Doggy" Dawson (born 12 December 1968) is an English professional darts player currently playing in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Career Dawson began to see success in the 2014–15 season as he qualified for the televised stages of the Winmau World Masters, losing narrowly to Glen Durrant after having match darts. Dawson then debuted at the World Championship and reached the quarter-finals, after victories against Seigo Asada, Madars Razma, and Jeffrey de Graaf Jeffrey de Graaf (born 21 November 1990) is a Dutch darts player. Thurnscoe is a village in the Metropolitan Borough of Barnsley, metropolitan borough of Barnsley in South Yorkshire, England. The village falls within the Dearne North ward of the Barnsley MBC. 2016 BDO World Darts Championship
The 2016 Lakeside World Professional Darts Championship was the 39th World Championship organised by the British Darts Organisation, and the 31st staging at the Lakeside Country Club at Frimley Green. The defending men's champion was Scott Mitchell, who won his first world title in 2015, but lost in the Quarter-finals to Richard Veenstra. 2013 world champion Scott Waites won the title by defeating Jeff Smith 7–1 in the final. Lisa Ashton was the defending women's champion, having won the previous two editions, but lost to Trina Gulliver in the Quarter-finals. Gulliver then went on to win her 10th world championship title after defeating Deta Hedman 3–2 in the final. Zuiderduin Masters
The Finder Darts Masters was a darts tournament held in Egmond aan Zee, Netherlands, sanctioned by the British Darts Organisation and the World Darts Federation, running intermittently under several different names from 1995 to 2018. The tournament was previously known as the Zuiderduin Masters from 2007 to 2014, as the Leendesk Masters in 2005, as the Doeland Grand Masters from 2001 to 2004, as the European Grand Masters in 2000, and as the Dutch Grand Masters in 1995 and 1996. It was held in December and was traditionally the last BDO event held before the annual World Championship. The tournament was an unranked event until 2008, when it was installed as a ranking event, along with the World Championships and the World Masters, following the cancellation of the World Darts Trophy and the International Darts League. 2017 World Masters (darts)
The 2017 Winmau World Masters was a major tournament on the BDO/ WDF calendar for 2017. It took place from 25–27 September at the Bridlington Spa Hall, which hosted the stage element of the event for the first time since 2009. Glen Durrant was the defending men’s champion after defeating Mark McGeeney in last year’s final by 6 sets to 3 but he failed to defend his title after losing to eventual champion Krzysztof Ratajski in the quarter-finals. Trina Gulliver was the defending women’s champion after defeating Deta Hedman in the final last year by 5 legs to 2 but she failed to defend her title after losing to Tricia Wright in the quarter-finals. The 2014 Winmau World Masters was a major tournament on the BDO/ WDF calendar for 2014. It took place from 9–12 October, with 9 October played at the Bonus Arena for the non-stage matches, and 10–12 October played at the Hull City Hall, which hosted the stage element of the event for the fourth year. Stephen Bunting was unable to defend his title due to his switch to the PDC. Deta Hedman attempted to defend the title she won in 2013 as the number 1 seed.
