Brian Carroll
Brian Carroll (born July 20, 1981) is an American retired soccer player who last played for Philadelphia Union in Major League Soccer. He is currently the only player in MLS history to have won 4 consecutive Supporter Shields. Career Youth and college While in high school, Carroll was th''Washington Post'' All-Met Player of the Year was twice named to thAll-American team, and led the West Springfield Spartans to the final of the Virginia state tournament in 1998. He played college soccer at Wake Forest University from 2000 to 2002. Named captain as a sophomore, Carroll tied the school record for most assists in a game with three and finished the year as a second-team All-ACC selection. As a junior, he was again team captain, an All-American, and was a finalist for the Hermann Trophy. United States Men's National Under-23 Soccer Team
The United States U-23 men's national soccer team, also known as the United States men's Olympic soccer team, is a youth soccer team operated under the auspices of U.S. Soccer. Its primary role is qualification into and competition at the quadriennial Olympic Football Tournament, the next of which is to be held during the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France. The team's most recent major tournament was the 2020 edition at the Tokyo Olympics, in which the United States team did not qualify. Their most recent qualfiication was the tournament at the 2008 Summer Olympics, where the team was eliminated in the group stage. In accordance with FIFA regulations, the roster can be augmented with three "overage" players during Olympic competition. United States Men's National Under-20 Soccer Team
The United States U-20 men's national soccer team is controlled by the United States Soccer Federation. The highest level of competition in which the team competes is the FIFA U-20 World Cup, which is held every two years. The United States' best finish came in the 1989 FIFA World Youth Championship, when the U.S. beat Iraq in the quarterfinal before losing to Nigeria in overtime in the semifinal and Brazil in the third-place match. Steve Snow tied for second in the tournament with three goals. The U.S. reached the quarterfinals in 1993 but lost to Brazil. Kei Kamara
Kei Ansu Kamara (; born 1 September 1984) is a Sierra Leonean professional footballer who plays as a striker for CF Montréal of Major League Soccer. He is one of only eleven players to have scored 100 goals in MLS history, achieving the landmark in 300 appearances, and is currently third on MLS's all-time scoring list. Early life and education Kamara was born and raised in Kenema, Sierra Leone's second-largest city, and began his career playing for Kallon F.C. from 2001–2003. At age 16, Kamara and his family migrated to the United States through a refugee program, initially moving to Maryland, before settling with relatives in Hawthorne, California, near Los Angeles. The San Jose Earthquakes are an American professional soccer team based in San Jose, California. The Earthquakes compete as a member club of the Western Conference of Major League Soccer (MLS). Clyde Simms (born August 21, 1982) is an American former soccer player. He played in Major League Soccer from 2005 to 2013. He also represented the United States at international level. Career College Born in Jamestown, North Carolina, and attended Southwest Guilford High School in High Point, North Carolina. Simms played college soccer at East Carolina University from 2000 to 2003, where he appeared in 72 games and notched seven goals and seven assists. He was team captain his final three years. Professional Simms went undrafted by Major League Soccer after college and instead signed with Richmond Kickers of the A-League.
