Brian Burg
Brian Adam Burg (born February 4, 1980) is an American basketball coach who most recently served as head coach of the Georgia Southern Eagles men's basketball team. Early life and education Burg is a native of Katy, Texas and is the son of Jim Burg. He played basketball at Cisco College before transferring to Mount Mercy University. When he was in college, Burg wrote letters to Bob Knight to try to find a coaching job. Burg graduated from Mount Mercy in 2003. He earned his master's degree from Lake Erie College in 2005. Coaching career Burg began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Lake Erie College from 2003 to 2005. He was an assistant coach at Garden City Community College from 2005 to 2006 and at Western Texas College from 2006 to 2007. Ole Miss Rebels Men's Basketball
The Ole Miss Rebels men's basketball team represents the University of Mississippi in the sport of basketball. The Rebels compete in the NCAA Division I and the Southeastern Conference (SEC). They started the 2015–16 season playing home games at Tad Smith Coliseum on the university's Oxford campus, but played their final game in that facility on December 22, 2015. The Rebels opened a new on-campus arena, The Pavilion at Ole Miss, on January 7, 2016. The Rebels were led by 12-year head coach Andy Kennedy until his resignation on February 18, 2018. ''Lubbock Avalanche-Journal'' is a newspaper based in Lubbock, Texas, United States. It is owned by Gannett. History ''The Lubbock Avalanche'' was founded in 1900 by John James Dillard and Thad Tubbs. According to Dillard, the name "Avalanche" was chosen due to his desire that the newspaper surprise the citizens of Lubbock. The newspaper was sold to James Lorenzo Dow in 1908. The James Madison Dukes men's basketball team is the college basketball, intercollegiate men's basketball program representing James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Mark Byington
Mark Byington (born April 22, 1976) is an American basketball coach and former college basketball player. He is the head men's basketball coach at James Madison University. High school playing career Mark Byington played high school basketball at Salem High School located in Salem, Virginia. He led the Salem Spartans coached by current Dobyns-Bennett head coach Charlie Morgan to a 26–1 record in the 1993–94 season and to the Group AA state championship defeating Louisa County. Chris Beard (basketball)
Christopher Michael Beard (born February 18, 1973) is an American basketball coach who was most recently the head coach at the University of Texas at Austin for the men's team. He previously coached at Texas Tech, Little Rock, Angelo State, and McMurry. Beard graduated from high school from McCullough High School in The Woodlands, Texas. He was a manager at Texas under former Longhorns coach Tom Penders, graduating in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology. He received a Masters of Education from Abilene Christian University where he served as a graduate assistant in 1998. Under Beard's watch, the Texas Tech Red Raiders made the deepest NCAA Tournament runs in school history.
