Brian Belichick
Brian Belichick is an American football coach who is the current safeties coach for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He joined the organization as a scouting assistant in , and worked as a coaching assistant from 2017 to 2019 before being promoted to safeties coach prior to the season. Early years Belichick played lacrosse at The Rivers School and Suffield Academy where he was an All-League selection in football and lacrosse. He then played collegiate lacrosse at Trinity College, graduating in 2016. Coaching career New England Patriots On July 21, 2016, the New England Patriots publicly confirmed that Brian Belichick had been hired as a scouting assistant, which was to be his first and only year working in the front office. The Rivers School is an independent, coeducational preparatory school in Weston, Massachusetts. Rivers' Middle School program includes grades 6-8, while its Upper School program includes grades 9-12. Stephen C. Belichick (born March 25, 1987) is an American football coach who is the current outside linebackers coach for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He formerly was the team's safeties coach and worked as a defensive assistant since he began coaching in . Early years Belichick played lacrosse at The Rivers School in Weston, Massachusetts, and was an All-League Honorable Mention selection in his senior year. He then attended Rutgers University where he continued to play lacrosse as a defenseman and long-stick midfielder (LSM) from 2008 through 2011. Stephen Nickolas Belichick (January 7, 1919 – November 19, 2005) was an American football player, coach, and scout. He played college football at Western Reserve University, now known as Case Western Reserve University, from 1938 to 1940 and then in the National Football League (NFL) with the Detroit Lions in 1941. After serving in World War II, Belichick began his coaching career. From 1946 to 1949, he was the head football coach and the head basketball coach at Hiram College. He continued on as an assistant coach in college football with stints at Vanderbilt University (1949–1952), the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (1953–1955), and then for 34 years at the United States Naval Academy (1956–1989). Lacrosse is a team sport played with a lacrosse stick and a lacrosse ball. It is the oldest organized sport in North America, with its origins with the indigenous people of North America as early as the 12th century. Suffield Academy is a private preparatory school located in Suffield, Connecticut. It was founded in 1833 to train young men for ministry in the Baptist Church.
