Brian Bedol
Brian Bedol is an American television executive, entrepreneur, and founder of the sports television channels Classic Sports Network and College Sports Television. Bedol owned CSN from 1995 to 1997 and CSTV from 2003 to 2006. Bedol has since sold off both channels, to ESPN and CBS respectively, who have renamed the channels ESPN Classic and CBS Sports Network. He served as president and CEO of both companies. He left CSTV Networks in January, 2008. In 2009 he announced the formation of Bedrock Venture Partners to invest in early-stage media and technology businesses. In addition, in August 2010, Major League Soccer announced it had hired Bedol as a consultant to help the league determine what to do with its media rights. ''Haywire'' is a sketch comedy television series which was aired by Fox as part of its 1990-91 lineup. ''Haywire'' included segments such as: "Mind Your Manners with Billy Quan", which described etiquette for kung fu practitioners, which was originally a sketch from the Seattle-based sketch comedy show, ''Almost Live!''; "The Persuaders", in which cast members attempted to persuade people on the street to do unusual, zany things; and "Thrillseekers", in which the introduction to the old Chuck Connors show was used to introduce people who had boring jobs or who were in very mundane, nonthreatening situations. Other features included commercial spoofs and showing scenes from both old black-and-white films and shots of people on the street with redubbed and presumably funnier dialogue. ''Totally Hidden Video'' is an American hidden-camera television show and game show that aired from 1989 to 1992. It was one of the early shows in the history of the Fox television network and held the highest viewing share for any Fox program at one point. It was produced by Quantum Media and Fox. The show premiered on Sunday, July 9, 1989. Steve Skrovan was the program's first host, later replaced by Mark Pitta in 1991. Shortly after its debut, a game segment called ''Totally Home Made Videos'' was added to the show.
