Eric Brevig
Eric Brevig (born 1957) is an American film director and visual effects supervisor known for his work in several major theatrical films and television shows. He was Visual Effects Supervisor and Second Unit Director on the 2001 in film, 2001 Jerry Bruckheimer/Michael Bay action drama ''Pearl Harbor (film), Pearl Harbor'', for which he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects. Career Since his film school days at UCLA, Brevig had been fascinated with the potential of 3-D for live-action movie production, and he learned everything he could about it. Hans Christian Brevig
Hans Christian Brevig (21 September 1904 – 15 October 1974) was a Norwegian farmer and politician. Brevig served as mayor of Vestby for 19 years 1945–1964. He was also elected deputy representative to the Storting for 4 periods, 1950–1965, for the Agrarian/ Centre Party and Akershus. He replaced Hans Borgen at the Storting August–September 1963, when Borgen was member of Lyng's Cabinet. Brevik, Norway
Brevik () is a town in Telemark, Norway, with an estimated population of 2,700. Brevik was established as a municipality 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt), but was merged with Porsgrunn on 1 January 1964. Brevik is regarded as one of the best preserved towns from the sailing ship era. The town is located on the far end of Eidanger peninsula ( Eidangerhalvøya), and was a former export centre for ice and timber. The last shipment of wood to the United Kingdom was around 1960. Brevig Mission ( ik, Sitaisaq or ; russian: Бревиг-Мишен) is a city in Nome Census Area, Alaska. The population was 388 at the 2010 census, up from 276 in 2000. It is named for the Norwegian Lutheran pastor Tollef L. Brevig, who served at the mission that would later bear his name. First settled in 1900, the mission became known as Teller Mission before receiving its current name. The mostly Inupiat Eskimo population continues to practice subsistence.
