Brett Sullivan (baseball)
Brett Charles Sullivan (born February 22, 1994) is an American professional baseball catcher for the San Diego Padres of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2023. Career Amateur career Sullivan attended Lincoln High School in Stockton, California, and the University of the Pacific, where he played college baseball for the Pacific Tigers. In 2014, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Bourne Braves of the Cape Cod Baseball League. Tampa Bay Rays The Tampa Bay Rays selected Sullivan in the 17th round, with the 508th overall selection, of the 2015 Major League Baseball draft. He played in 65 games for the rookie-level Princeton Rays in his first professional campaign. Luis Genaro Campusano (born September 29, 1998) is an American professional baseball catcher for the San Diego Padres of Major League Baseball (MLB). Amateur career Campusano graduated from Cross Creek High School in Augusta, Georgia. He was primarily a first baseman, and did not begin catching until his junior year. As a junior, he batted .493 with six home runs and 33 RBIs. As a senior, he batted .622 with six home runs. He had committed to play college baseball for the Missouri Tigers, but he decommitted and then committed to play for the South Carolina Gamecocks during his senior year. The El Paso Chihuahuas are a Minor League Baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL) and the Triple-A (baseball), Triple-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres. The Durham Bulls are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League and the Triple-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays. They are located in Durham, North Carolina, and play their home games at Durham Bulls Athletic Park, which opened in 1995. The Montgomery Biscuits are a Minor League Baseball team based in Montgomery, Alabama. They are the Double-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays and play in the Southern League. The team was founded in Orlando, Florida, in 1973 as the Orlando Twins, an affiliate of the Minnesota Twins. Charlotte Stone Crabs
The Charlotte Stone Crabs were a Minor League Baseball team located in Port Charlotte, Florida, from 2009 to 2020. They competed in the Florida State League (FSL) as the Class A-Advanced affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays Major League Baseball (MLB) team. They played their home games at Charlotte Sports Park and were named for the Florida stone crab, which is indigenous to the Charlotte County region. The Stone Crabs arrived in Port Charlotte in 2009 after the Vero Beach Devil Rays were purchased by Ripken Baseball and relocated from Vero Beach, Florida. They played 11 seasons in Port Charlotte.
