Brent Pirow (born 6 February 1959) is a South African former professional tennis player. Pirow twice qualified for the singles main draw of a grand slam tournament. At the 1982 Wimbledon Championships, which he made as a lucky loser, he lost in the first round to third seed Vitas Gerulaitis. Gilles Moretton (born 10 February 1958) is a former professional tennis player from France. He enjoyed most of his tennis success while playing doubles. During his career, he won four doubles titles. He achieved a career-high doubles ranking of world No. 55 in 1984. Since 2001, he has been president of ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne, one of France's top basketball clubs. Derek Tarr
Derek John Tarr (born September 15, 1959) is a former American professional tennis player, originally from South Africa. Career While at Auburn University, Tarr played tennis in the Southeastern Conference and was the singles champion in 1981. In the same year he became Auburn's first ever All-American and would be selected a further two times. Tarr twice made the second round of the singles draw in a Grand Slam tournament. He defeated Mike De Palmer at the 1983 US Open and beat Christophe Roger-Vasselin at the 1984 Wimbledon Championships. His best performance on tour came in the 1984 Cincinnati Open, part of the Grand Prix Tennis Championship Series, where he reached the round of 16. He registered upset wins over Tim Mayotte at Queen's in 1982 and Henri Leconte in the 1985 Madrid Tennis Grand Prix event. Lee-on-the-Solent, often referred to as Lee-on-Solent, is a seaside district of the Borough of Gosport in Hampshire, England, about five miles (8 km) west of Portsmouth. Vitas Gerulaitis
Vytautas Kevin Gerulaitis (July 26, 1954 – September 17, 1994) was an American professional tennis player, known as Vitas Gerulaitis. In 1975, he won the men's doubles title at Wimbledon, partnering with Sandy Mayer. He won the men's singles title at one of the two Australian Open tournaments held in 1977. (Gerulaitis won the tournament that was held in December, while Roscoe Tanner won the earlier January tournament.) He won two Italian Open titles, in 1977 and 1979, and the WCT Finals in Dallas in 1978. Early life Gerulaitis was born on July 26, 1954, in Brooklyn, New York, to Lithuanian immigrant parents, and grew up in Howard Beach, Queens.
