Brent Guy
Brent Guy (born September 5, 1960) is an American college football coach and former player. Guy served as the defensive coordinator for Florida International University. Guy also served as head football coach at Utah State University from 2005 to 2008, compiling an overall record of nine wins and 38 losses. Playing career Guy graduated from Booker High School (Texas), Booker High School in Booker, Texas and attended Oklahoma State University, where he was a defensive end and linebacker before graduating with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration. He played on the Independence Bowl team that still holds the school record for total defense (giving up 268 yards per game). Guy finished his playing career with 177 tackles, he was credited with 103 his senior season. Armed Forces Bowl
The Armed Forces Bowl, formerly the Fort Worth Bowl from 2003 to 2005, is an annual postseason college football bowl game. First played in 2003, the game is normally held at the 45,000-seat Amon G. Carter Stadium on the campus of Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. The 2010 and 2011 editions were instead played at Gerald J. Ford Stadium in University Park, Texas, when Amon G. Carter Stadium underwent a reconstruction project. The game features teams from a variety of collegiate football conferences; in addition, the independent United States Military Academy (Army) is also eligible to participate. The Las Vegas Bowl is an NCAA Division I FBS annual post-season college football bowl game held in the Las Vegas area. First played in 1992, the bowl was originally held at the 40,000-seat Sam Boyd Stadium in Whitney, Nevada before moving to the 65,000-seat Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada in 2021. The Big West Conference (BWC) is an American collegiate athletic conference whose member institutions participate in the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I. The conference was originally formed on July 1, 1969, as the Pacific Coast Athletic Association (PCAA), and in 1988 was renamed the Big West Conference. Charles Alvin Weatherbie (born January 17, 1955) is an American former gridiron football player and coach. He served as the head football coach at Utah State University (1992–1994), the United States Naval Academy (1995–2001), and Louisiana Monroe (2003–2009). A graduate assistant serves in a support role at a university, usually while completing post-graduate education. Defensive end (DE) is a defensive position in the sport of gridiron football. This position has designated the players at each end of the defensive line, but changes in formation (American football), formations over the years have substantially changed how the position is played. Booker, Texas
Booker is a town in Lipscomb and Ochiltree counties in the U.S. state of Texas. It was named for B.F. Booker, a civil engineer for the Panhandle and Santa Fe Railway. The population was 1,516 at the 2010 census. Geography Booker is located at . It is incorporated in Lipscomb County, and most of its territory lies in the northwest corner of that county; only a small portion extends west into Ochiltree County.
