Brent Brennan
Brent Munger Brennan (born March 20, 1973) is an American football coach. He is the head football coach at San Jose State University. Early life and education Brennan was born and raised in Redwood City, California, and attended Saint Francis High School in Mountain View, graduating in 1991. Brennan later went to UCLA. He lettered in football in 1993 (jersey number 14) and 1994 (jersey number 86) as a wide receiver and graduated in 1996. Brennan also had stints as a graduate assistant at Washington under Rick Neuheisel in 1999 and Arizona in 2000 under Dick Tomey. From 2001 to 2004, Brennan was wide receivers coach at Cal Poly under Rich Ellerson. Brennan also became recruiting coordinator in 2004. James Rodgers (gridiron Football)
James Rodgers Jr. (born December 20, 1988) is an American football coach and former wide receiver who is the wide receivers coach for the New Jersey Generals of the United States Football League (USFL). He signed with the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent following the 2012 NFL Draft. He played college football for Oregon State University. He has also played for the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League (CFL). 2006 New Mexico Bowl
The 2006 New Mexico Bowl was a postseason American college football bowl game held on December 23, 2006 at University Stadium on the University of New Mexico campus in Albuquerque as part of the 2006–07 NCAA football bowl games. The game, telecast on ESPN, featured the San Jose State Spartans from the WAC and the hometown New Mexico Lobos from the Mountain West Conference. The game was the inaugural New Mexico Bowl and the first bowl game held in the state. San Jose State controlled the action all game long, jumping out to a 20–3 lead before New Mexico tacked on 9 points in the final few minutes. John Broussard
John Benjamin Broussard (born December 18, 1983) is a former American football wide receiver. He was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the seventh round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He played college football at San Jose State. Broussard was a member of the New York Giants Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions. He is the younger brother of San Jose SaberCats wide receiver Jamall Broussard. James DeAndre Jones (born March 31, 1984) is a former American football wide receiver. He played college football at San Jose State Spartans football, San Jose State and was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the third round of the 2007 NFL Draft. George Michael MacIntyre (born March 14, 1965) is an American football coach. He is the head coach at FIU Panthers football, FIU. MacIntyre served as the head football coach at San Jose State University from 2010 to 2013 and the University of Colorado Boulder from 2013 to 2018. Great West Football Conference
The Great West Conference (GWC) was an NCAA college athletic conference in the continental United States. Originally a football-only league, it became an all-sports entity during the 2008–09 season. The GWC stopped sponsoring football following the 2011 season. The conference became defunct when four of the remaining five full member schools became members of other conferences on July 1, 2013. History Cal Poly, North Dakota State, Northern Colorado, South Dakota State, Southern Utah, and UC Davis inaugurated the Great West Football Conference during the 2004 season. Rich Ellerson
Richard Emmet Ellerson (born January 1, 1953) is a former American football coach. He was the head football coach at Southern Utah University in 1996, at California Polytechnic State University from 2001 to 2008, and the United States Military Academy from 2009 to 2013. While at Cal Poly, Ellerson's teams won three conference championships and compiled a 56–34 record, giving him the third highest winning percentage of any football coach in school history. Richard Hastings Tomey (June 20, 1938 – May 10, 2019) was an American football coach and player. Tomey served as the head football coach at the University of Hawaii at Manoa (1977–1986), University of Arizona (1987–2000), and San Jose State University (2005–2009), compiling a career college football record of 183–145–7. His last full-time coaching position was as the special teams coach at Hawaii in 2011 under head coach Greg McMackin, who resigned after the season.
