Brennan Marion
Brennan Randall Marion (born August 25, 1987) is an American football coach and former American football wide receiver who is currently the offensive coordinator at UNLV. He was signed by the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent in 2009. He played college football at Tulsa and two junior colleges. At Tulsa he set the single season NCAA FBS yards-per-catch record in a single season at 31.9, and finished as the NCAA career leader at 28.7 yards-per-catch. He had back-to-back 1,000-yard receiving seasons. After playing four seasons of college football at three different schools, Marion was eligible to be selected in the 2009 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. Prep career Marion was a four-year letter winner in football, basketball and track at Greensburg-Salem High School in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. Offensive Coordinator
An offensive coordinator is a member of the coaching staff of an American football or Canadian football team who is in charge of the team's offense. Generally, along with the defensive coordinator and the special teams coordinator, this coach represents the second level of coaching structure after the head coach. The offensive coordinator is in charge of the team's offensive game plan, and typically calls offensive plays during the game, although some offensive-minded head coaches also handle play-calling. Several position coaches work under the offensive coordinator (position groupings can include quarterbacks, wide receivers, offensive line, running backs, and tight ends). The UNLV Rebels football program is a college football team that represents the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). 2009 NFL Draft
The 2009 NFL Draft was the seventy-fourth annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible football players. The draft took place at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, New York, on April 25 and 26, 2009. The draft consisted of two rounds on the first day, starting at 4:00 pm EDT, and five rounds on the second day, starting at 10:00 am EDT. To compensate for the time change from the previous year and in an effort to help shorten the draft, teams were no longer on the clock for 15 minutes in the first round and 10 minutes in the second round.
