Brendon Reeves
Brendon Reeves (born 16 July 1976) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played for the Illawarra Steelers, Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles and the Northern Eagles in the National Rugby League (NRL). He played at fullback. Reeves made his ARL debut in round 7 of the 1996 season for the Illawarra Steelers against the South Queensland Crushers. Playing career Reeves, who came from the Riverina town of Quandialla in country NSW, was a member of Yanco's University Shield open age rugby league side, traveled to Darwin for the Australian rugby league championships and also represented NSW Combined High Schools in rugby union. In 1992, Reeves accepted a scholarship offer from the Illawarra Steelers which involved him moving to Wollongong when his time at Yanco had come to a conclusion. Young, New South Wales
Young is a town in the South West Slopes region of New South Wales, Australia and the largest town in the Hilltops Region. The "Lambing Flat" Post Office opened on 1 March 1861 and was renamed "Young" in 1863. Young is marketed as the Cherry Capital of Australia and every year hosts the National Cherry Festival. Peter Peters Greek: Πανούτας Πετερίδης) (born 10 June 1947) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer, commentator and journalist. Playing career He was a first grade player for Parramatta (1967–68) and Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles from 1969 to 1974, playing in the 1973 premiership winning team. He played five seasons with Manly between 1969–1974 and played over 70 grade games. Post playing Later he became a rugby league journalist in Fairfax newspapers and football commentator on radio station 2GB before moving to 2KY, forming a partnership with former referee Greg Hartley, which became popularly known as the 'Decibel Duo' and 'Hollywood and Zorba'. Peters was nicknamed 'Zorba' for his Greek ancestry. He was also a panelist on television programme ''Controversy Corner'', hosted by Rex Mossop in the late 1970s. St George Illawarra Dragons
The St. George Illawarra Dragons is an Australian professional rugby league football club, representing both the Illawarra and St George, Sydney, St George regions of New South Wales. The club has competed in the National Rugby League since NRL season 1999, 1999 after a joint-venture was formed between the St. George Dragons (est. 1921) and the Illawarra Steelers (est. 1982). They officially formed as the game's first joint-venture club on 23 September 1998 and it remains the only inter-city team in the NRL.
