Brendan Jones (radio Personality)
Brendan Jones (born 3 April 1968) is an Australian radio presenter, actor, media personality and motorcycling enthusiast. Career Brendan Jones began working in radio on the community radio station 2BCR Bankstown for six months. In 1990 he obtained a night job at Spirit Radio Network, 6KA Karratha, Western Australia, followed by mornings and afternoons at 2NM Muswellbrook and then afternoons at i98FM Wollongong, both in New South Wales. His biggest hosting gigs have been late nights on B105 FM, B105 Brisbane, afternoons with Triple M Brisbane and Triple M Sydney afternoons where he achieved the highest daytime figure for the station at 17.9%, then on mornings and then drive. 10 Bold is an Australian free-to-air digital television multichannel owned by Network 10. It originally launched on 26 March 2009 as One HD with a focus on broadcasting sports-based programming and events, but rebranded to One in April 2011 to more reality, scripted and adventure-based programming aimed at males between the ages of 25 to 54. As of October 2018, the channel now primarily broadcasts dramatic programming aimed towards viewers 40 and older. Television Sydney (TVS) (call sign TSN-31) was a free-to-air sponsors-based community television station broadcasting in Sydney, Australia. The station lost both its community franchise and the battle to remain on the air on 8 December 2015 and ceased transmission on 20 December 2015 after almost ten years on the air. The station was not replaced. History In 2003 the Australian Government called for tenders for what it called the "permanent" community TV licenses. For many years community channels in the major capital cities had operated on narrowcast licenses issued for limited 12-month periods. ''Fat Pizza'' is a 2003 Australian comedy film based on the ''Pizza'' television series, both of which were created, produced, written and starred in by Paul Fenech. It was produced by Village Roadshow Pictures and SBS Independent (uncredited). It was filmed in the Canterbury-Bankstown region of Sydney, specifically Bass Hill and Chullora. The series is a satirical parody of low income Australian residents of fictional suburb Sunnyvale, New South Wales, who are living in Housing Commission public housing. ''Joker Poker'' was a late night Australian poker program on Network Ten which aired in 2005 and 2006. The 2005 edition was hosted by Adam Spencer, with the second and final edition hosted by Mike Goldman. Both were co-hosted by New Zealand poker pro Lee Nelson and Australian model Laura Weston acted as hostess. The show was produced by Australian Production Company Freehand Productions.
