Brendan Hall (filmmaker)
Brendan Hall (born 13 September 1966) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1980s and 1990s. He mostly played , but he also spent time playing and occasionally . Playing career Hall was a Canberra junior, and an Australian schoolboys representative in 1984. In 1986, he moved to Sydney, joining the Arthur Beetson coached Eastern Suburbs Roosters. Early on in his career, he forged a reputation for being a tough, fearless, and hard hitting tackler, but later on he developed more of a pivotal role and predominantly played five eighth in the Roosters team, as well as occasionally being the team's goal-kicker. At the end of 1995, Hall decided to retire from playing rugby league. Barry Reilly
Barry 'Bunny' Reilly (24 March 1948 – 5 May 2021) was an Australian rugby league footballer who played in the 1960s and 1970s. Career He played in the NSWRFL Premiership for the Eastern Suburbs Roosters from 1966 to 1971 and 1973–79, and the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks in 1972. Reilly was also known as 'The Axe' because of his defensive technique, which it was said allowed him to chop down opposition attackers like an axe. Reilly was a member of the Eastern Suburbs premiership-winning sides in 1974 and 1975. Sio Siua Taukeiaho (born 3 January 1992) is a professional rugby league footballer who plays as a or for the Catalans Dragons in the Super League. He plays for Tonga national rugby league team, Tonga and played for New Zealand national rugby league team, New Zealand at international level. An Australian international and New South Wales interstate representative back, he played his club football in the New South Wales Rugby Football League premiership for Sydney teams Eastern Suburbs and Manly-Warringah. Raymond Ernest Stehr (24 January 1913 – 2 June 1983) was an Australian rugby league footballer, a New South Wales Rugby League team, state and Australia national rugby league team, national representative player whose club career was played at Sydney's Sydney Roosters, Eastern Suburbs club. He has been named as one of the nation's finest footballers of the 20th century. Early life Stehr was born in the country New South Wales town of Warialda in 1913 of Germans, German descent. As an eight-year-old child, he was diagnosed an ''incurable cripple'' after developing blood clots at the base of his spine. He was unable to walk for two years and spent twelve months strapped to a stretcher, completely immobilised with his back encased in a plaster cast. Boyd Cordner (born 9 June 1992) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played as a forward for the Sydney Roosters in the NRL and Australia at international level.
