Brendan Guhle
Brendan Guhle ( ; born July 29, 1997) is a Canadians, Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman. Guhle was selected by the Buffalo Sabres in the second round, 51st overall, of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career Junior In the 2012 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft, Guhle was drafted with the third-overall pick by the Prince Albert Raiders. In January 2014, Guhle was a member of Canada's silver medal-winning Team Pacific at the 2014 World U-17 Hockey Challenge (January), World U-17 Hockey Challenge. In January 2015, Guhle participated in the BMO CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game, a showcase of the Canadian Hockey League's top draft eligible players for the 2015 NHL Draft. Rochester Americans
The Rochester Americans (colloquially known as the Amerks) are a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League; the team is an owned and operated affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres. The team plays its home games in Rochester, New York, at the Blue Cross Arena at the War Memorial. The Americans are the fourth oldest franchise in the AHL, and have the second longest continuous tenure among AHL teams in their current locations after the Hershey Bears. Rochester was awarded a new franchise in June 1956, when the Pittsburgh Hornets were forced to suspend operations after their arena, the Duquesne Gardens was razed in an urban renewal project. Sherwood Park, Alberta
Sherwood Park is a large hamlet in Alberta, Canada within Strathcona County that is recognized as an urban service area. It is located adjacent to the City of Edmonton's eastern boundary, generally south of Highway 16 (Yellowhead Trail), west of Highway 21 and north of Highway 630 (Wye Road). The 2019–20 NHL season was the 103rd season of operation (102nd season of play) of the National Hockey League. The regular season began on October 2, 2019, with playoffs originally planned for April and the Stanley Cup Finals planned for June. Brandon Montour
Brandon Montour (born April 11, 1994) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman for the Florida Panthers in the National Hockey League (NHL). Montour was selected by the Anaheim Ducks in the second round, 55th overall, of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. Early life Montour is of Mohawk descent and grew up in Ohsweken, a village inside the reserve of Six Nations of the Grand River. Six Nations has the highest population of any First Nation in Canada. His father, Cam Montour, is Indigenous Canadian. In tribute to this, Brandon has an uncompleted tattoo on his left arm that consists of a headdress and feathers. Montour spent eight years living in Tilbury, Ontario, where he completed his elementary education. He then moved to Ohsweken, Ontario, and attended Assumption College School, in Brantford, Ontario. The 2019 NHL Entry Draft was the 57th NHL Entry Draft. The draft was held on June 21–22, 2019 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia. AHL All-Star Classic
The American Hockey League (AHL) is a professional ice hockey league based in the United States and Canada that serves as the primary developmental league for the National Hockey League (NHL). Since the 2010–11 season, every team in the league has an affiliation agreement with one NHL team. NHL Collective Bargaining Agreement
The NHL Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) is the basic contract between the National Hockey League (NHL) (32 team owners and NHL commissioner) and the NHL Players' Association (NHLPA), designed to be arrived at through the typical labour–management negotiations of collective bargaining.
