Brendan Buckley (ice Hockey)
Brendan Buckley (born February 26, 1977) is an American former professional ice hockey defenseman. He is currently an assistant coach for the Boston College Eagles. Career Buckley was drafted 117th overall by the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in the 1996 NHL Entry Draft from Boston College. Defence or defense (in American English) in ice hockey is a player position that is primarily responsible for preventing the opposing team from scoring. Italian Hockey League - Serie A, formerly known as Serie A, is the top tier of professional ice hockey in Italy, which first began play in 1925. They are conducted under the authority of the Federazione Italiana Sport del Ghiaccio (FISG). The league initially merged with the Inter-National League to become the Alps Hockey League in 2016. The UConn Huskies men's ice hockey team is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I college ice hockey program that represents the University of Connecticut. The Hockey East Association, also known as Hockey East, is a college ice hockey conference which operates entirely in New England. It participates in the NCAA's Division I as a hockey-only conference. Hockey East came into existence in 1984 for men's hockey when most of its current members split from what is today known as ECAC Hockey, after disagreements with the Ivy League members.
