Scottish People
The Scots ( sco, Scots Fowk; gd, Albannaich) are an ethnic group and nation native to Scotland. Historically, they emerged in the early Middle Ages from an amalgamation of two Celtic-speaking peoples, the Picts and Gaels, who founded the Kingdom of Scotland (or ''Alba'') in the 9th century. Ian Bremner
Ian Bremner (born 11 April 1947) is a former Australian rules footballer who represented and in the Victorian Football League (VFL) during the 1960s and 1970s. A half back flanker recruited from Pearcedale, Bremner started his career at Collingwood in 1966 but after playing just one game in the season he crossed to Hawthorn. He was a premiership player in 1971, losing grand finalist in 1975 and a premiership player again in 1976. Bremner moved to Tasmania and had a stint coaching North Hobart in the TANFL for the 1977 and 1978 seasons. Bremner Boulevard
The Esplanade is an east-west street along the central waterfront of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Originally conceived as a city beautification project to clean up the city's waterfront in the 1850s, the street was taken over by the coming of the railways to Toronto in 1850. The railway eventually moved to an elevated viaduct, leaving only the eastern section of the street today. The area, east of Yonge Street, was dominated by industrial uses until the second half of the 20th century. As the harbour declined as a transfer point, the railway and industrial uses left the area. The Esplanade was redeveloped into a residential area, known as the "St. Lawrence Neighbourhood" in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Robert Bremner or Brymer ( c. 1713–1789) was a Scottish music publisher. Evidence suggests that he may have born on 9 September 1713 in Edinburgh to John Brymer and Margaret Urie, and had a younger brother named James, but little else is known about his early life.Alburger. Janice Birch (née Bremner) (born July 15, 1974) was a Canadian competitor and Olympic medalist in synchronized swimming. Career Birch began synchronized swimming in the late 1980s, but was most successful in the 1990s. Birch competed with the Canadian Synchronized Swimming Team, where they won a Silver Medal in 1994, at the World Aquatics Championships, and again at the 1995 Pan American Games. In the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Birch and team members Christine Larsen, Sylvie Fréchette, and Valérie Hould-Marchand, won another Silver Medal. Soon after the 1996 Olympic Games, Birch retired from competitive swimming and began studying at the University of British Columbia.
