''Robotech'' is the American adaptation of three Japanese animated series: ''The Super Dimension Fortress Macross'', ''The Super Dimension Cavalry Southern Cross'', and ''Genesis Climber MOSPEADA'', as a single TV series. The series is divided into three parts which are subtitled ''The Macross Saga'', ''The Masters'', and ''The New Generation''.
