Breeders (film)
''Breeders'' is a 1986 science fiction horror film directed by Tim Kincaid, and stars Teresa Farley, Lance Lewman and Frances Raines. A remake was released in 1997 under both the same title and ''Deadly Instincts''. Plot When five Manhattan women, all virgins, are accosted under mysterious circumstances, the police think they have got a twisted serial rapist on their hands. But as NYPD Detective Dale Androtti (Lance Lewman) and Dr. Gamble Pace (Teresa Farley) soon discover, the reality is much worse. Tracing the source of the attacks underground, they find an unstoppable alien presence that has infested an abandoned subway system and begun to reproduce itself by impregnating human women. Tim Kincaid
Tim Kincaid (born July 2, 1944) is an American film director, film writer and film producer often credited as Joe Gage or Mac Larson. Kincaid is well known for having directed several science fiction/horror films in the mid-eighties: ''Breeders'', ''Mutant Hunt'', and most infamously ''Robot Holocaust'', which was featured in an episode of ''Mystery Science Theater 3000'' and released on Blu-ray by Scorpion Releasing. Perception To a perceptive viewer some of the characters in Gage's films can be clearly understood as "gay identified", while others are just as clearly intended to represent bisexual men who normally inhabit the heterosexual world and may even be happily married. Wizard Video was a home video distribution company formed by B movie producer Charles Band in the early 1980s. It was well-known for its detailed (and often lurid) box art, especially during the time that it sold videocassettes in larger individual boxes. Its VHS releases included ''Zombie 2'', ''The Texas Chainsaw Massacre'', and ''I Spit on Your Grave''.
