Breaking Benjamin (EP)
''Breaking Benjamin'' is the self-titled debut extended play (EP) by American rock band Breaking Benjamin. The EP was released in 2001 around the band's hometown of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, where all 2,000 copies sold out in the weeks following its release. All five tracks were re-recorded for the band's major label debut album, '' Saturate'' (2002). Release Recorded at Saturation Acres in Danville, Pennsylvania, the EP is rock group Breaking Benjamin's first and only independent release before being signed to a record label. It was here that the band had recorded, and released 2,000 copies of their self-titled EP, as well as putting their first single "Polyamorous" into heavy rotation at local rock station 97.9 X. All copies of the EP promptly sold out, and the band was soon signed to Hollywood Records. Breaking Benjamin
Breaking Benjamin is an American Rock music, rock band from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, formed in 1999 by lead singer and guitarist Benjamin Burnley and drummer Jeremy Hummel. The first lineup of the band also included guitarist Aaron Fink and bassist Mark Klepaski. This lineup released two albums, ''Saturate (Breaking Benjamin album), Saturate'' (2002) and ''We Are Not Alone (Breaking Benjamin album), We Are Not Alone'' (2004), before Hummel was replaced by Chad Szeliga in 2005. The band released two more studio albums, ''Phobia (Breaking Benjamin album), Phobia'' (2006) and ''Dear Agony'' (2009), before entering an extended hiatus in early 2010 due to Burnley's recurring illnesses. The Badlees
The Badlees are an American roots rock band from Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania formed in 1990. They released several independent albums and achieved national success with their 1995 album '' River Songs''. In 1998, after recording a follow-up album, Polydor/Atlas was sold to the Seagram Corporation, which delayed the release of the album and eventually led to the Badlees being dropped from the roster. ''Saturate'' is the debut studio album by American rock band Breaking Benjamin. It was released on August 27, 2002. The album features three singles, including " Polyamorous", "Skin", and "Medicate". The album was certified gold by the RIAA on September 15, 2015. Background After the commercial success of the band's lead single " Polyamorous", there was a dispute between the band and the studio on deciding on which they wanted to release as singles. The band wished for their song "Medicate", while the studio insisted on releasing "Skin" as a single. Eventually, the band decided to go with "Skin", despite some negative feedback with the band and the fairly poor success it reached. The original release of ''Saturate'' contained "Forever" as a separate track; also, the newer enhanced versions came with the "Polyamorous" music video and ultimately featured the song embedded with "Shallow Bay".
