Platystomatinae
Platystomatinae is a subfamily of flies (Diptera) in the family Platystomatidae (Signal flies) that includes 80 genera, the largest subfamily with at last estimate, species globally. Subfamily classification The Platystomatidae were comprehensively divided into five subfamilies, but more recent reviews of morphology suggest that some aspects of this classification are unsatisfactory. This led to reducing the number of subfamilies to four, being the Plastotephritinae, Platystomatinae, Scholastinae and Trapherinae Angitulinae being subsumed into Platystomatinae. The most relevant diagnostic characters include: both the upper and lower calypters form a distinct lobe (in some genera these are equally undeveloped); the katepisternal setae absent; tergite 5 is well-developed; elongate terminal filaments on the sclerotised glans of the male distiphallus, each terminating in a gonopore. Biology Members of the family Platystomatidae tend to occur in forest and forest margin habitat ty ...

In the 2010 game ''The 3rd Birthday'', an amnesiac Aya is found by the Counter Twisted Investigation (CTI) unit to fight against the "Twisted", mitochondria-spawned creatures that have gradually taken over the world. Tetsuya Nomura was largely responsible for Aya's design after her original artist failed to realize Sakaguchi's vision for the character. Brea (Thrace)
Brea ( grc, Βρέα, demonym: Βρεαῖος or Βρεάτης) was an ancient Greek colony in Bisaltia, Thrace, in the lower reaches of Strymon. Nothing is known about the city itself. Nevertheless, the city is considered important by an inscription in which its 446/5 BC founding is mentioned, which is known as the Brea decree, the Brea inscription, or the Brea stone. Location and History The exact location of Brea is unknown. The city was a colony of Athens. There is no information about its future fate after their foundation; perhaps it was destroyed by the Thracians a few years after the founding. In the year 437 BC, the colony founded Amphipolis; thereafter, it makes no further appearance in Thucydides. Plutarch Plutarch mentions the establishment of Brea in his '' Pericles '': 'In addition, he sent a thousand citizens as settlers to the Chersonese, five hundred to Naxos, half of them Andros, a thousand to Thrace, to live together with the Bisaltians...'(A thousand to T ...
