Braulio Castillo, Hijo
Braulio Castillo Jr. (born August 30, 1958) is a Puerto Rican actor and radio host. He is the son of Braulio Castillo, an actor across Latin America, and the brother of the lesser known Jorge Castillo, also a television and theater actor. Biography For a short time during the 1970s, he was first known in Puerto Rico doing newsbreaks for WKBM-TV Channel 11 in Caguas, now Univision O&O WLII. Castillo reached national fame in Puerto Rico when he participated in the 1984 Spanish soap opera ''Coralito'' at San Juan-based WKAQ-TV Channel 2. There, he shared star billing with Mexican actor Salvador Pineda and with Puerto Rican actress Sully Diaz. Afterwards, Castillo reached teen idol status across Puerto Rico. Braulio Castillo
Braulio Castillo Cintrón (March 30, 1933 – February 28, 2015) was a telenovela actor in Latin America. His two sons, Braulio Castillo, Jr. and Jorge Castillo, are also actors. He was born in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. Castillo played in the ''Orquesta Mandolina'' in Puerto Rico, before working as an actor. He graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with a major in the performing arts. He had roles in Puerto Rican television soap operas, during the 1950s, including '' El derecho de nacer''; he worked at Telemundo Puerto Rico productions. Alba Giselle Blondet Gomez (born January 9, 1964) is a Puerto Rican actress and TV host. She also founded the non-profit organization "Fundación Arte por La Paz". Early biography Giselle Blondet was born Alba Giselle Blondet, in 1964, to Victor Manuel Blondet and Alba Gomez, in New York, New York, but was raised and studied in Puerto Rico. A telenovela is a type of a television serial drama or soap opera produced primarily in Latin America. The word combines ''tele'' (for "television") and ''novela'' (meaning "novel"). Similar drama genres around the world include '' teleserye'' (Philippines), '' téléroman'' (Canada, specifically Quebec), and ''sinetron'' (Indonesia). Commonly described using the American colloquialism Spanish soap opera, many telenovelas share some stylistic and thematic similarities to the soap opera familiar to the English-speaking world. The significant difference is their series run length; telenovelas tell one self-contained story, typically within the span of a year or less whereas soap operas tend to have intertwined storylines told during indefinite, continuing runs. Raymond Arrieta (born March 26, 1965) is a Puerto Rican actor, comedian, host and philanthropist.
